Remarks
The admission process was quite simple and the admission in charge assisted me a lot during the admission and helped me at any point I got stuck. I got a scholarship on the basis of the Entrance cum Scholarship exam named CUCET. The minimum marks criteria were 60% in 12th from a recognized board and PCM must be the subjects in 12th.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I love to learn stuff related to software and programming. In my class, there are 120 students but we are divided into three sections and the teacher-to-student ratio is 1:40. Teachers are highly qualified from top universities like IITs and NITs. The method of teaching is quite good and teachers give instant response to student queries and get it solved soon. Exams were monthly and they were of good level and it was moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Various internships are offered every year from very recognized companies like Microsoft, Google, Cognizant, etc. Roles offered are software engineer, Web Development, Programming, etc. Various projects like developing a website, mobile app, etc are given and the outcomes are really favourable.
Placement Experience
I'm in 2nd year now so I have not got an opportunity to sit for the placements but the placement cell is very responsive and alert for students. We have got an industrial training after the very first year and this year our college bagged the highest placement of Rs 35 lacs from Microsoft. Our college has 'the highest number of companies visited in a calendar year for placement' record.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is a bit high but the facilities provided are also of top-class like highly functional labs and various training sessions are also there. The scholarship is provided on a different merit basis like the Entrance cum scholarship exam and 12th marks basis.
Campus Life
The annual fest is not conducted due to covid but as I got to listen from seniors, it is organized in a good manner giving students a lot of entertainment. The library is well organized and it has books from courses and life lessons and inspiration too. Extra and co-curricular activities are conducted on a regular basis and many workshops and sports events are also conducted for both indoor and outdoor sports.
Hostel Facilities
Truly speaking, I never got an opportunity to reside in the hostel but my seniors and my relatives told me that the hostel has a very quiet and healthy environment for studies and the warden is also very supportive. The mess provides hygienic food and a very tasty meal frequently about 5 times daily including morning tea and evening breakfast.
