Remarks

Colleges applied to: Jain University, Banglore SRM VIT No Quota Taken Admission Criteria: Exam: CUCAT ( 30 Marks for each of PCM + 10 Marks for English )/ Board Result Basis JEE Mains Minimum Marks aren't there CUCET: Exam just like JEE as Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test The admission process is done on the above-mentioned exam basis.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I like to engineer machines near me. Computer Science is the future of today's world. This has high placement chances. 5:100 ( 11 subjects per semester ) Highly Experienced Faculty, student-centered teaching. They have deep & in-depth knowledge of their respective domain. Easy Exams, you just need to practice PYQs. You need to put a lot of effort into 1st Year maths. Literally much harder than other subjects.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am recently in an AI ML Internship at Elite Techno Groups, where I develop and code on Python. I am in the 2nd Semester right now but have done some through Internshala. I have made some projects on AI, Python, ML, Web, Backend, IoT as a part of my submissions.

Placement Experience

5th semester. Google, Microsoft, CodeGemini, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Adobe Deloitte 47 LPA Highest in Amazon Most students get placed but those who do not. They go for higher studies or for alternate domains.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees would not be hiked, but if you fail to pay your dues on time. you will be put under small penalties. If you gain a scholarship by CUCET/ Board / JEE Marks. then they would be held until the time you have 7.5 + C.G.P.A. in each semester. After that, they would cancel your scholarship for all the next semesters. You can apply to SBI or other banks. The college authority is very friendly for this part and they will help you out in figuring the loan for the cost of fees.

Campus Life

https://cuchd.in/ campus-life /tech-invent.php There is a huge library for all of us and you can issue books through an online portal too. You can find every second sports facility here. There are ton of student groups run by students.

Hostel Facilities

Quora: how is the hostel facility at Chandigarh University and how is the food? Quora: how is the hostel facility at Chandigarh University and how is the food? Ankit Solanki Reviews on Chandigarh University.

The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
