Remarks

This was the place where I spent a very Big part of my life so this will remain with me forever.Learnt life lessons made life long friendships this place turned me into a confident and successful individual.

Entrance Preview

Gave AIEEE exam and than got admission in the college chose Computer Science because of my interest towards computers and new technologies the amount of Jobs in IT is more in INDIA these days that's why chose CSE. Other things are the chances of onsite opportunity and a valuable exposure in the IT world.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was very fair and attractive the subjects in the 1st year were mainly an extension of what we studied in the school after 1st Year got new subjects which were very interesting and latest. Later on we got computer subjects which were the backbone of computer science engineering the theory part was good and practicals were made very easy by some brilliant teachers and extraordinary friends.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is mainly dependent on the companies that visit the campus many students were given paid internships at the time of 8th Semester. Few of my fellow classmates were picked by Think and Learn in Bangalore where they were paid 18000 every month as stipend many got internship at wipro where they got 18000 plus other benefits these people got a good exposure at that time.

Placement Experience

5

The placement and Job opportunities is better than any other college in north India.I secured a Job in Wipro Technologie(Project Engineer). All my classmates are placed in big companies on decent perks. Everyone had the feeling from the very starting that they will get a job from this college. The amount of companies visiting the college is very high. Many Big players like amazon and Microsoft visit the college and pick students.

College Events

3.5

There were many technical and non technical events in the college the Annual College Fest PARIVARTAN was a very big event. There were many smaller events in the fest like Gaming, War of Bands, Dance Performances many big stars used to visit the campus and made students feel the different colors of life.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee Structure keeps on varying every year.At the time I got admission the Fees was very nominal that is only 43000 rupees per semester. There was no other hidden or extra fees. The examination fee was 710 rupees per semester the hostel fee was also very decent that is 60000 per year. Now the Standards of College are improving Exponentially so there might be some variation in the fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college gives scholarships to the people who have a financial condition and can't pay fees. The top performers were all given rewards timely if you are good academically and have a financial condition the college would give you a scholarship to study and fulfill your dream to become a successful engineer.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life was superb there were many big lawns where we could sit and discuss the Infrastructure was superb from all ends the college would look lush green from all angles. The Sports facility was great with multiple sport grounds and courts the gender ratio was very balanced and there was a sense of growth along these lines of unequal gender ratio of many colleges in India there used to be many extracurricular activities in the college time which made students sharp from all sides.

Hostel Facilities

4

There were 4 Big Hostels for Boys and 1 for Girls the boys hostel was very good and spacious there was an option for four seater and 2 seater hostel rooms. I stayed at the Four Seater Room sharing hostel. The facilities of the hostel were all upto the level which a student desires the internet speed and connectivity was good. The mess food was very good and tasted like home food it broke the stereotype of bad mess food from our minds.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very strong and well maintained was once made to do a survey on the college alumni students to find out where they are and what are they doing in there lives. Interacted with many of them and it was a very good experience to know there lives and times there feedback about the college life and college was very valuable.

Exam Structure

The exams were conducted in a very easy and effective manner. The examination halls very well facilitated the Exam structure comprised of Lab and theory Exams. The practicals would start before exams where all our practical knowledge about the subject was tested the theory exams were all good and the quality teaching helped in clearing the exams easily.

Admission

The administration was very supportive went to the college and analysed the quality of life there. Then gave them my documents and got to know how to get admitted talked to the admission department people. After documentation got the admission in the college then went to the hostel and got a seat the admissions were open from June 2012 and after research and analysis got admitted in July and the college started from august 1st Week onwards.

Faculty

4

The faculty is highly qualified. Each and every teacher is a knowledge hub. They would interact with you in all local languages to make you feel comfortable with the environment and the subjects. They were mostly people who knew how to bend and shape the next generation of engineers. The assessment part of teacher was also very fair. They used to encourage students to go ahead in life and do something great.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
