Remarks

During applying for the Admissions, I applied for colleges like AISSMS, COEP, VIT, VIIT, and JSPM NTC as those were close to my home. I got a general seat in JSPM NTC for Mechanical as the marks I got were good enough and JSPM NTC was newly setup institute at that time and had set out oly 6 batches yet. For getting admissions in JSPM NTC, you need a MHTCET score of 90-110 to get admission in general category. Reserve category depends upon the score overall, it could be 45 or 60 also. Admission process is very simle and good. The staff is too polite ad good here. The process gets completed in one day itself where you get College ID card immediately after admitting into college. Also the college has its personal bank where you get your account. They provide us all the details before admitting, seperate staff is provided to show the infrastructure and all the facilities. But truely speaking, infrastructure here is good than that of top colleges like AISSMS.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I decided to chose Mechanical Engineering as I was interested in Machines and Automobiles. Here staff is actually good and polite. For each subject there are 4 teaching faculties also you can communicate with all four even if they are non-teaching for your division. All the faculties here are MTech graduated and are knowledgable. Also some staff here are graduated from IITs and NITs. Overall the teaching system is good. Also GFM(Gardian Faculty Member) pattern is followed here, wherein every 20 students are alloted a GFM who guides the students and take feedback regarding the problems and also they take the report of attendance of these students.

Placement Experience

3

Placements come at the campus and students are eligible to apply from their TE (3rd year). Companies visited during panademic are Warade Packtech, Roop Polymers, Flex, etc. These are basic startup companies visited here with package of 1.2 LPA to 2.1 LPA. The core companies have not mostly visited due to this Panademic. Besides it BYJU, Telentio, Whitehat JR, Amazon are the companies which provide a package of 6 LPA to 12 LPA, but these are Sales and Marketing based companies. Besides you can apply in Offcampus interviews from TCS, Capgemini, Accenture which provide package around 3.4 LPA to 4.6 LPA, even mechanical people get selected in this Tech companies. But my pan is to work in Mechanical Core Companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here if you talk about Fee structure, its nominal considering to other colleges. Fees for Engineering is 81,918 for open while for OBC it is 44,918. In cas of SC and ST they have to pay 7419 (development fees) only. Also the Management staff here is very good. It doesn't force students to pay the full fees at the time of admissions. They provide the fees to be paid in steps, its flexible as per your convenience. Regarding job placement, campus provide placement offers. But the cons is that the companies which come to the campus are mostly Sales and Marketing background. Very less Mechanical Core companies come here for campus placements. Companies that arive here are BYJU, Talentio, Amazon, (Capgemini, TCS, Accenture.. offcampus). The campus has been impacted due to Corona panademic. Yet campus managed to bring some core companies like FLEX and Warade Packtech, Roop Polymers, etc. Also you can apply in other campus in JSPM group as per your eligibility.

Campus Life

4

In every January the college fest is been held where the technical events as well as cultural events are been held. There is different cultural team called Art Circle wherein you can participate and showcase your extracirricular activities. In case of techanical you can find Black Spanner (Go-cart) team which manufactures Gocart and participate in different competitions worldwide, Supra team which builds suspension vehicle for different competions. Also in Mechanical department theres MESA and SEED forum. While in other departments also you will get their personal teams and associations. Regarding Library, its to good almost 15-20 copies of each reference books are available here. Its the most silent and good place where you can study during exams. Also the Campus greenery here is too beautiful. Outside library also there is a lawn wherein you can sit and study in natural atmosphere. Regarding classrooms, those are spacious and there are two smart room in each department.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
