CU things

I was applied for NIT Jalandhar but due to the high cutoff, I didn't get a seat there so basically this was the only college that was taking in the minimum criteria of class 12th class with 60% in physics chemistry and math each. This college also gives scholarships to students who score 80% or above which is strong financial support. The admission procedure was so simple we just need to talk to the admission cell and after submitting 10000 money your admission is confirmed.

Basically, I was interested from starting only that I have to go in this computer science and technology field so that's why I have opted for this. The student strength in each section is about approx 40-45 students which gives a good environment to study and there are also about 50 sections in computer science branch. In this college, every facility is BSc or BTECH qualified and also provide some quality teaching. Some of them are a little bit not good but most of them are well educated. Every semester they take exams about 2 mid-semester and 1 end Semester which contains good questions for the mind sharping for the students. The passing criteria are simple we just need to score atleast 33% in each subject which is not difficult.

Google, Amazon and Flipkart like major companies come here with the highest package like 40 LPA and many more which is very good, the project we get is also not too much hard it's just average we just need to apply for more effort in that project. we just need to make data structure and algorithms strong enough then you are capable of grabbing those internships.

We can eligible for the internship from the 2nd year onwards if you have those enhanced skills for the particular programming language. In the corona pandemic also this college offers over 20,000 placements in the COMPUTER SCIENCE branch only. So you can imagine the placement. Almost 70% of students got placed in the particular company. You just need to score above 8.5 CGPA in the 3rd year for sitting in the interview round of any company. My plan after getting the degree is to get a job within the 4th year only cause I'm not that financially stability that's why it is important for me to take placement.

This college provides scholarships on the basis of class 12th exams and CUCAT tests too. The scholarship criteria for the board is like if you score above the 70-80% then they will waive you 10% in the academic fees and if between 80-90 then it's 20% waiver but if you are above 90% then they will provide 50% which is very beneficial for the financially depended students. And also in case if you can't afford that much money for the fees then don't worry, this college provides a loan section for the students which is good enough with minimum interest.

There are many groups and clubs which are run by students like the KC group which provides many opportunities to the other students in a friendly manner so that they overcome the anxiety and can spend time with friends. We are also having one Instagram page which is the name OOPS official which promotes dance music and many more co-curricular activities so that they can enhance their technical and spiritual skills. On the monthly basis, we organize cultural workshops for the other students.

Our hostel campus is located in the college area only which is safer and comfortable for attending classes in such a way that we don't have to walk too much. It offers a single to 5 seater room according to your choice you can take. The booking of hostels is just simple we just need to mail to the hostel care department and within a single day, only the hostel is approved. The quality of food is not too bad not too good it's just a way that can be eaten easily. The PG room is also very near if you want to Pursuit that at a comfortable price and also we did not have to walk more to go to college so it is also very good you can go through it.

There are no such criteria is that like we just need to first call to the admission department them after on the basis of class 12 board result they take the admission. And after you face difficulty then you can talk to the counsellor which will guide you very well on this.
