Previously I applied to some govt. Colleges but then I thought I will get more opportunities at Chandigarh university so I applied here. There are no such admission criteria for admission in this college. The admission process was quite simple, just register yourself in cuchd.in then it's all on the website.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for ECE eng. Because of my interest in electronics. Faculty:student ration is approx 35:1 Some faculty are highly qualified and some are normal, and the teaching method is not too good. There is two mid term test and then finals in a semester. Exams are moderate level.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of companies that offer internship opportunities to students but it also depends on the knowledge of the student. Students here have a lot of workloads but by performing these tough tasks they are ready for upcoming challenges.
Placement Experience
From the end of 3rd-semester companies start visiting. For placements students also give CUCAT EXAM. Google, Microsoft, tata communications, etc visit the campus every year. Highest package-35lpa Average package-4-8lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't noticed any fee hike yet, but the cost to study here is quite high. For financially weak students they provide scholarships on the basis of board exam results,jee marks, or CUCET exam. Cucet exam is taken by Chandigarh University and provides a lot of opportunities to students.
Campus Life
Due to the covid pandemic, CU didn't organize any fest on campus but they have done the freshers party online. The library is quite large and diverse(courtesy-seniors.) There are a lot of clubs, a social groups on campus.
