There are no entrance exams as such. There was not any proper college entrance exams too. I just had to fill the admission form and pay the fees.
Internships Opportunities
I never had a chance to do any internship. Especially there was nothing that was supported by college. So i have never seen companies coming in the campus.I took my own initiative to do some internship outside.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities werent too good. especially when i passed out in 2010, the IT industry was low and couldnt get any good companies. There were few BPO's coming in and selecting engineering graduates for voice processes. There was one IT company called CSC came and hired about 5 students out of the entire 500 people
Fees and Financial Aid
There wasn't any loan as such provided. But for every semesters the toppers would be awarded with some cash amount which could be ranging from 1000 to 3000.
Alumni/Alumna
For 2 to 3 years i remember going to the alumni meet. But after that i have never heard of anything of that sort. They might have to re-initiate such meets and increase the network of senior students.
Exam Structure
Exam structures are as standard as Anna university. There is not much deviation with the syllabus. It's the same process that was followed by all colleges that are affiliated to Anna university. Exams were frequent with monthly assessments, class assessments and semesters. Holidays were truly a chill out time.
Admission
I visited the college directly and enquired for the process. I just had to fill the admission form and pay the required amount. I had to wait for a long time as it took a lot of time for them to process the request. At the end of the day when the chairman comes he just approves the admission.
