Nice college for persuing BTech

For getting admission in btech one must study PCM in 12th and must score more than 60%. I gave UPSEE exam and after the result, during counseling, I selected the branch which I wanted to study. According to the cutoff of colleges and selected branches, I got options of different colleges I selected IMS engineering college as it was best among them. I opted for the computer science branch as it is the field of my interest. The admission process was very simple one just have to submit all required documents like the 10th marks sheet, 12th marks sheet, I'd proof, and other such required documents. After all formalities and submission of fee one will get a registration number which will help until you get your roll number from the university. BTech is really a very interesting course that allows us to tackle real-life problems and also gives us a practical approach. Not only does it help us with problem-solving skills but it also gives us a good career opportunity, on-ground reality is that if you got skills you have job opportunities.

I chose to do a BTech in computer science because it is an area of my interest. Here at IMS faculties are very helpful, friendly towards students, and experienced. Also students: faculty ratio is good, the faculty gives time to students and all of them have remarkable qualifications. Term exams are conducted from time to time in order to prepare for end sem exams.

As I am in my second year and because of coronavirus I have not attended any internship, hence I do not have a good idea about internship opportunities but internships are given in reputed organizations and along with stipend certificates are also provided which add value to our resume

IMS engineering college provides campus placement. Students of third year and final year are eligible for placement. Many companies visit here some among them are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Students are also placed in reputed companies like Amazon. 90% students get placed every year.

It is a bit costly to study here but they allow students to pay in installments. Although fees varying for different years. There are many scholarships which students can avail themselves of according to qualification criteria.

The annual fest is conducted in December and the tech fest is conducted in October. It is a two-day fest where every unique idea is welcomed. Apart from annual fest and tech fest DJ night, Holi, Diwali, and other festivals are also celebrated. An annual sports fest is also organized in August. There are different sports to participate in and winners are rewarded with gifts. There are many clubs and social groups which are run by students like music club, dance club, etc. We also have an NGO group in which students are assigned different subjects and on Sundays and holidays, they all go and teach unprivileged children. It is fun to be a part of it.
