Remarks

I got admission to my college through counseling which is conducted at Tamil Nadu agricultural university. They allocate college seats based on quota. If you get a minimum mark, you will get a college seat through management. You can Directly get admission to college but different fees structure.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose my course only because of my parents. Totally around 120 Students per year. Here teaching is at a very good level. Faculties are highly qualified and experienced persons. Exam schedules are maintained by Tamil Nadu agricultural university.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure - around 1 lakh per yr. There are separate Fees for hostel accommodation and transportation(around 40,000). Also separate Fees for Records and books. Those who are the first graduate got scholarships.

Campus Life

Very good infrastructure and hygiene. Medium size library available in my college. Big size classroom with monitoring camera. Big shorts ground also available. They conduct many cultural and sports events.

Hostel Facilities

A Neat hostel is available with a wifi connection. They provide a Balance diet for everyone. The hygienic level is also good. But a cell phone is strictly prohibited my college and hostel room. For girls, parents must present for leaving the hostel for holidays.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In agriculture what you study in the books is not fully applicable in the field. The practical knowledge that the college provides is not up to the mark. 2.5 hrs practical classes must be engaged better. Every semester there will be 10-13 courses, each consisting theory and practicals. A mid-semester exam(20 marks) is conducted halfway through the semester. The practical exams(40 marks) are first conducted and there will be no gap between the exams. After this with one or two days gap the theory exams(40 marks)are also conducted daily like the practicals.

Remarks:

This is a place we should choose if we are interested in learning horticulture. Since it is the only traditional and best College for teaching horticulture. But if you want to enjoy your College days along with academics this is not the place you should choose
