Remarks

The admission Criteria was neither hard nor easy. They first asked me for my 10 th and 12 th results,If it's 80% or more you can carry further with the interview. In interview they checks your knowledge ,skills and discipline. And also your english test. There is no Quota.Rules are the same for everyone

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the Course as i was interested in Arts.,which made me believe to study arts. Faculties were too good and students ratio was also proper and equal. One of the finest teachers stays here..they help you in every possible way.. Exams were termly conducted twice a year..with more Practicals..it was little difficult to pass it.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are not good to you.You need to find it yourself but during summar they do offer internship. Companies like Tech Mahindra,Hcl, concentrix, visit here. Roles are translaters, help Hr to get recruiters and many more.

Placement Experience

4.5

Let's explain this in chronological order. Anyone you need placement need to have 50% or more with degrees. Placements rate have high(let's say 70%) Most companies visited is amazon and Tech mahindra. Highest is 6.75 and lowest is 3.25 lakhs each. Now my goal is to Study MA and take a job in part time.

Fees and Financial Aid

Amity is among the top universities but.. I felt that total charge including my rents, and everything is a little expensive..i was need to pay around ?4 lakhs per year..but the best thing is they conducts Scholarship tests per 6 months which helps students to study further with less Fees.. And if you need any personal financial help they can tie you with orient bank.

Campus Life

Annual fest,Room amenities, library name of annual fest is Amity youth fest, conducted in Feburary..this rooms have Ac,black boards, projectors..etc.. There are a lot of books available..you just need a pass to register yourself.. I was not included in sports Activities so sorry for that..

Likes

The campus,,, Somaiya has best college campus with lot of activities area in it
The Sittings accross the campus is really student friendly
Canteens were supper affordable for students for food accessibility

Dislikes

The cordination given by management of college, They were so rude all the time idk y

Course Curriculum Overview:

Literature gave me insights to the history and a different pov on the situations happened Literature sharpens the thought process we can have in real world scenarios which are quite unique tbh. Its just too much of theory, if could update it and make it somehow relavent to today situation, it would be fun learning it

SPC from a TYBA students POV

Likes

Kalamandal (like theatre club), it’s a different world and it’s magical.
December to March is the college fests time and it’s super lively and fun
Psychology, Sociology & Philosophy departments have amazing professors. They’re smart, helpful and actually care for their students

Dislikes

Except for Psyc, Socio& Philo other departments are awful specially the English department. The HOD herself speaks horrible English and doesn’t even know any books of jane Austin besides pride and prejudice.
The toilets are horrible and never clean and are barely open even. The canteens are also okayish at most.
The management and accounts department are horribly slow

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's good, it's fun and I enjoy it. It changes every sem and that's why we also get to explore more of the subjects. It also depends on the professor tho. First year is to chose 6 different subjects and explore. Then second year you get to choose one major and two minors. Major are then divided into 3 parts, the 2 minor subject are elaborated and one compulsory subject which is English, this continues for third year. There are 2-3 additional subjects that change every sem too like PE, EVS, etc.

For a person who into music production this is the best course and College but any other music field consider other options. The administration is too poor and are harsh on the students but the teaching faculty is supportive.

The college management has appointed a student council who look after all the needs of the students and is responsible and accountable to manage and follow up different activities, events and functions throughout the year. They are the main link between all the societies working in the college and team members of these societies.
