Entrance Preview

I got admission through the KEAM entrance exam, my rank was 16 k, my interest was to take the mechanical branch so i joined here.

Course Curriculum Overview

In the course BE mechanical engineering there are 8 semesters. I got admission in the mg university. Each semester has 6 theory subjects and the 2 laboratories. Each semester has 2 series exam, 2 assignments, and the University exam. The university exam is conducted on the november and the may months.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college provide internships. For doing the internships we actually select the good company for doing our internship. In our college the companies are not coming for doing the internships. The students have to select the companies and do the internships. I did my internship in the cochin shipyard, it was a nice experience there. I have studied many things about the ship building and many more.

Placement Experience

Yes, our college has many placements and Opportunities, the some of the good companies that are coming to our college are tcs, wipro, suzuki, tata, bosch, samsung, Infosys, etc. The placements are conducted by the placement officers. From the last sem of third year the students can attend the placements.

In our college there are many events are celebrating in a year. The tech feast is conducted on each year according to the department vice. The arts day, sports day, college day are also conducted by our college. One of the grand celebration is our onam celebration.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not much expensive. I got admission through the merit. So i have to pay 75 k per year. A year consist of 2 semesters so 75 k for the 2 semesters. There are students got admission through the management quota, so they have to pay 1 lakh for the each year. The students who got admission through NRI quota have to pay above 1 lakh per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are many scholarships are offered by our college. One of the best scholarship is the MCMS scholarship. I got this for the last 2 years. The amount of the scholarship is 25 k per year. This is given according to the academic performance and the annual income of the student.

Campus Life

Our campus is a good and greenary campus. There are 3 colleges in our campus, engineering, arts, and architecture. Our campus is quite large and has a large play ground, canteen, etc each year our college conduct arts and sports. This is large competition among the students, the sports is conducted as inter college vice.

Exam Structure

Our course consist of 8 semesters, each semester has 6 theory subjects and the 2 laboratories. The semester exam is conducted on the november and the may months. Except to the semester exam each semester has 2 series exam. The series exam is conducted for the internal marks. So we have to pass the series exams for the good internal marks.

Faculty

In our college each department has 10-15 faculties are there, each one is well qualified for teaching the B.tech syllabus. For teaching us they have to study the M.tech after completing their B.tech course, after completing the M.tech they can work as a teacher. For teaching the engineering mathematics subject they don't want to qualify the M.tech, the qualification for teaching the engineering mathematics subject.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Likes

college provides nice venue good study environment

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Likes

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

Placement Experience:

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students

An average college.

My college is situated so there is lot to explore there. We have separate buildings for every courses. The lab was very good. The college environment was very neat and tidy. The college also provided with a good canteen. Although the overall teaching quality is good, some aspects need improvements. The college is a Muslim management college. The management's attitude is like if we want to study we can,if we don't they won't pressure us. There was no other complications in taking admission in my college, everything was very easy.
