Best in terms of Placements and Exposure.

There are two ways to get admission in CEC landran. 1. Based on JEE mains score and rank cut-off is decided by Punjab Technical University. You can easily get through this because even if you score less in exam you will still pass thru cut off marks. 2. Direct admission - visit college and ask about the admission and seats availability and done. You must have 10th, 12th marksheet, JEE mains result and few other documents(you will get a list of documents required if you applied thru counseling).

1. Course content is just ok to be honest. Syllabus is quite old i think, but this is because of PTU, they haven't updated their syllabus and I'm not sure about the current curriculum. But there's a good thing introduced by college which I'll talk later. 2. Faculty memebers are good and supporting. 3. Talking about the exams, they are of moderate difficulty so with just normal study routine you can easily pass them. 4. Best thing introduced by CEC is TPP. In this program there are special tutors, who will take classes on Aptitude, Communication skills and technical skills. This program really helps students in cracking the interview.

Only during the placements, there are companies that offer interships, other than that no college doesn't provide any intership opportunity. It completely on us to get internship after our 4th or 6th sem.

Like I already told, this college is best to get placement and I guess it is known mainly for the placements. The thing here is, they have joint placement drive along with 2 other campus of cgc. Faculty provide extensive training to crack placement exams and interviews. There are companies with packages from 28-30LPA to companies with package of 3LPA. All depends on how well you perform and what level of knowledge you have. Placement process: 1. Fill placement form online if interested in a company. 2. Online exam - AMCAT or custom exam - Aptitude, English, Technical MCQs and 1-3 Programming question. 3. Interview. Some companies have multiple interview rounds, e.g. 2 technical interview +1 HR interview. This is the basic placement flow. Some companies offers just internship but based on the performance in intership period they will hire you as full time employee.

Talking about the fees, I haven't applied for any scholarship or financial assistance, so my fees is just like any other student. But from what I have heard, there if you are from economical weaker section then you can apply that quota while applying via counselling. This way your fee will bea round 15k per semester.

We get a lot of things to do in the campus. There is one main college fest known as Parivartan. This is really a good, we get to enjoy different things and can participate in the games. There are other small events which are organized by different groups in the college. It's near to chandigarh, so a lot of celebrities come here for promotion of their movies or shows. There a Sport meet every year, where number of students participate and even gets a chance to represent their college at higher level and some even gets chance to play in PTU team.
