Remarks

You must have a minimum percentage of 60 percent with PCM in +2 class and they're a test for scholarship cucet . CUCET is a national-level online entrance test. Cucet is a mandatory test for acceptance into ug programs.

Course Curriculum Overview

My dream was to become a pilot so I decided to choose this course and Chandigarh university was having a good record in placements so I did choose Chandigarh university. All the faculty members are graduated and having a great experience of teaching. The yearly exams are of 120 minutes and this year due to the pandemic it was online. It was a bit hard to pass because online it's harder to understand well.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

They provide many internships during the course. This year due to pandemics everything was online. Internshala and many more online internship sites were the only way to get internships. It helps students financially.

Placement Experience

From the 4th - 5th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. 492+ companies visited last year and offered jobs to 5134+ students. The highest package provided to btech aerospace students was 8+ lacs and the average package is 4.5 lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are about 85000 per semester and 2000 security and 2000 examination fees per sem. There is an examination taken by a university called cucet for a scholarship scheme. Students get scholarships as per the percentage they have got in cucet . If any student scores 90 % and above in cucet he/ she can get 100% scholorship.

Campus Life

I didn't want to campus due to pandemics but the university provided us online sessions and tech fests. And for books, they provided us e-books on cuims . There were many sessions conducted by experts. Chandigarh university not only works on education it works on overall student development.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document.
