I've applied online, the application fee was somewhere around Rs 1000. The admission in MBA is based upon how you performed in CAT/MAT or CUCET. CUCET is the entrance exam of Chandigarh university and if you performed well there's a high chance that you might get a scholarship. Also, the student must be a graduate with 50% aggregate marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
After BBA I wanted to do MBA in human resources and start my career as an HR in a reputed company that's why I opted for this course. The faculty here is well educated and is very cooperative and understanding. They always helped us whenever we have any doubts and provide proper guidance.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship opportunities and helps the students to get an internship in a well reputed company. I did my internship at HCL technologies with a stipend of Rs 3500 per month. My work was mainly related to HR.
Placement Experience
Students of 3rd sem become eligible for campus placement, every year recruiters from different MnC's coming, the highest package of my batch was of Rs 25 lakh and the lowest was of Rs 4 lakh, in my batch, 80% of the students got placed
Fees and Financial Aid
If we talk about fee structure, it will cost you around 4 lakh to complete your MBA. however if you performed well in CUCET then they give scholarships to you. To perform well in your entrance exam. After that, they conduct GD and PI
Campus Life
The campus of CU is very beautiful, it literally has everything from a library to canteens. CU organise fest like CU FEST and for freshers, they organise a fresher's party named AAGHAAZ, the classrooms are fully equipped with latest technologies like wifi and have all the basic amenities.
Interview Experience
After the entrance exam, you need to sit for a group discussion and personal interviews. The topic of my GD was "impact of technology on banking sector". After your GD, they will conduct your personal interview.
