Remarks
I applied through the official website of Chandigarh University by paying the registration fees of Rs. 10000 in 2019. I got a 50% scholarship on the basis of 10+2 marks. The admission criteria as far as I know is 40% marks and age is not a factor as long as you provide the gap certificate for the corresponding years.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are a lot of experienced teachers present in each department. But that does mean that there are inexperienced teachers also present. It depends on your luck who teaches your section. The teachers are well-qualified. The teachers provide good quality of study material which definitely helps you in the exams. There are 2 mid-semester and 1 end-semester examination every 6 months.
Fees and Financial Aid
My semester fees are Rs. 80000 plus Rs. 2000 examination fees. But I have 50% scholarship on the basis of marks obtained in CBSE class 12th exams (96% marks). Fees is not hiked every year. You pay the same fees for entire duration of your course. For scholarship you have to maintain 7.5 CGPA.
Campus Life
The 100-acre campus is well-planned and has everything that a good campus should. There are many cultural and tech fests organized throughout the year. There is a library in each academic block. So you will not feel short of books. The classrooms are well-ventilated and well-equipped for the study environment. Sports activities competition are also organized from time to time. There are many clubs for the students to join according to their interests. But all these activities have been affected by COVID-19.
