I got my admission on the marks of jee mains. By the way, CU gives the option for both direct admissions as well as through CU scholarship test. I like the exposure here and the green environment. Placement is also great it's my 3rd year now. During pandemics also students are getting placement offers here which is a great thing.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose computer science just because I was very much interested to learn and work with software. Facilities here are very knowledgeable and student friendly facilities are like our family. Most of the faculty are PhD holders. It was a pretty good experience about the semester exam, it was neither too tough nor too easy.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies are visiting for internship offers for example Amazon, Infosys, TCS and many more. Many companies offer 70k per month during the internship. There is a big number of companies that offer internships.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year placement drive started here, there are around 700 companies visiting here for placement even more than 700. This year(2020) highest package is 36 lakh. Last year it was 31lakh(2019). College claims that the average package is 5lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't get any scholarship here as I didn't appear on the scholarship examination. I am a third year student and I am not yet placed, I am still studying. There are many scholarships offers here for Punjab residents and for the reservation category.
Campus Life
There on the campus, it's a very normal thing. Like every month there it happens a big event. It starts with a fresher's event known as AAGAZ. There are libraries in every academic building here. There are more than 10 libraries on the campus. There are huge options for sports like probably every sports option is available here.
Hostel Facilities
4 seater room is around 90,000 per year.it includes mess charge, gym facilities, wifi, electricity, everything, you don't need to pay anything else other than hostel fees, semester fees and examination fees. The hostel is available in both mode AC and non AC.
