Remarks
Chandigarh university take admission through class 12 boards, jee mains or CUCET. They offer scholarship also according to your marks. They take admission through sports quota as well. If you score 90%+ in 12 boards or jee mains they offer you 50% scholarship as well. Minimum marks you need for admission is 60% in boards or maybe even less . You can contact with administrator for this. There is the provision of full fee waiver too if you perform well in CUCET exam which is done by university only.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course has good career opportunities so I chose computer science. Faculties are really good and qualified. Majority of faculties are PHD holders and their teaching methods are very good. Exams happens after a month or two . There are two monthly exams taken by university whose marks will be added to internals and your participation in class. Overall they prepare students very well for placements and companies. Many good companies also come.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Amazon,deolite come here for internships for different roles like software developer, networking, web development and stipend is decided according to company. Some project like machine learning, web development can be made
Placement Experience
The college has really nice placement records. Many companies visit here. Big companies like Amazon ,TCS etc and many mass recruiter companies. Placement rate is high in this college. Around 80-90% students get placements without any issues. Average package is 6-7 lakh and highest goes to 40 lakh this year.My plan after getting degree is to do further studies
Fees and Financial Aid
Maximum fees is 160000 per year and 90k for a hostel in girls with 3 seater and non AC. Scholarships are given on basis of 12 boards. Above 80% you get 10% scholarship and above 90% you get 50% scholarship. They also provide scholarships on basis of jee marks and CUCET marks. On jee you have to get above 90 percentile to get 50% scholarship. And CUCET is their personal exam. You have to qualify there if you couldn't get a scholarship in any of the above. Overall affordable as compared to rest of private colleges
Campus Life
Campus Life is really good. Seniors are helpful. No ragging and nothing mischievous. Talking about fest, there are a lot of opportunities music dance coding, tech invents .you can take part in any according to your wish. There are several clubs related to coding hackeroverflow, ladebug etc which give you so many great opportunities to polish your skills.
Hostel Facilities
Well, the hostel is quite expensive over here. It's 90k for 3 seater bed nonac and mess food is 27k per year. But they give a large variety of food according to time table set. Meal quality is good and hostel is nice too. It has its own gym, library too
