Internships in Chandigarh University

I have taken admission through a scholarship test (cucat) there i scored 75 out of 100 and got a scholarship of 30%. If you score above 95 in cucat then you will get 100% scholorship. To take admission to Chandigarh University you will have a minimum of 50% in boards. If you have more than 80% in the boards' exam then also there are some scholarships and also if you have a good percentile in JEE then also they will provide you some scholarships. Admission process is very simple. You can take a direct admission by calling on the number provided on their website. They will make you know the process of admission. Also, they have many offices for inquiry or admission in different cities. They will ask you for the documents and some fees for the first semester. There is no additional admission charge.

I have chosen BE in the CSE branch. I have chosen this course because many good companies come to CU for placement. And also CSE is a demanding branch. There is a big crowd of student at CU. Approx 3000-3500 students only in from computer science. But apart from this, they have also a good ratio of faculty. The division of section is approx 60-70 students in each section. So, the ratio of faculty and students is good. some faculty are masters and also many are doing or completed their Phd. Like every private college you will get good professors of some subjects and also some are more than good. There are also many young faculty members but their teaching is also good. In CU they take two Mid-semester tests and then final. The MST-1 will be taken after one month of the starting time of the batch, and then it's practical. Then after a gap of 1 month, they will take MST-2 and there is no practical exam for that. And at last finals. Anyone can pass exams easily and there is relative grading.

Chandigarh University provides internship opportunities. Like Iternship in cloud computing by Ezmata Technologies, Project assistant, BDE intern,Web development internship, MArketing and sales executive intern, Social media intern and many more on stipends like 4000- 8000 per month 8000 to full-time interns. For grabbing internships you need to make projects related to the same role you want. CU helps you in making projects like they give you project after ending to the syllabus.

Students can take placements after the 6th semester. Many companies come to CU like Adobe, Amazon, Zomato, IBM, TCS and many more. the heighest package is 36 LPA this in 2020,. And average package is 3- 4.5 LPA . Many students get placemetn but As there are so many studnts so for getting a good placement you were needed to be a good one. As there are approx 3000- 4000 students only from computer science branch. Also many students make their group and go for their own startups. My plan is that I want to do any startup like for medicine delivery website I thaught. And I am working for the same .

The fee of Chandigarh University for BE in CSE is 80000 per semester. But you can also get scholorships upto 100% by their cucat scholarship test. For 100% scholarship you need to score 95+ out of 100. Also they provide scholarships on board and JEE marks. And this scholarship is for 1 year and to maintain it you need to maintain your cgpa always above 7.5 cgpa. They also provides loan for students if they want. Their are many companies come to CU for internships and placement. But also their is a huge crowd of students so you need to come out of the crowd to take a good placement.

The library is good there you can find almost every book there. And the area of library chairs is also a good many student can sit there. They organize too many extracurricular activities on the campus. Also, they arrange webinars of students who are placed with a high package or in some good companies. There are some social groups like Hack overflow Technical Society (HTS) , Ladebug club (for girls) . HTS is for organizing many types of programs and webinars and it is a big group of students from 1st to 4th-year students. Ladebug club is only for girls students there they also organize many types of competitions or some webinars.

There are all types of hostels ( 2seater, 3, 4 or 5seater). There are seperate hostels for boys and girls with all the modern facilities available there. Like gym, salon, 24*7 wifi facility, , reading room, room for indoor games, lift. They provide a fresh and good meal to each and every student. The registration process is very simple. You can register through your UIMS or you can also directly call there. There is all type of rooms AC/Non-AC. The charges differ for each. For 4 seater non-ac it is 90000 per year 3-seater 985000 per year 2-seater 125000 per year. Room size is good they provide almirah to every student. Washroom were also neat and clean there. There are some apartments and pg there nearby. And also you can find a room or flat easily. They are within walking distance from CU or some others are also not so far.
