Remarks

The admission process was really hectic. Actually I got a bit decent score in JEE Mains so I waited for the counselling to get some good NIT but I were unable to get. Then I started searching for nice private universities I came up too many options but I opted Chandigarh university because of its placement and also a large number of companies come here. For all the readers out there I would like to suggest please please do research of a University when the platforms for researching our Google the best war and also YouTube and also length and you can have connections on LinkedIn talk to the seniors who are from that University and wisely take your decision of choosing your college or university. I also got 50% scholarship on my class 12th marks this was also one of the small reasons for I opt-in this college. Chandigarh University really provides nice scholarship on their entrance exam, JEE mains and class 12.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose BE CSE is mostly because of my interest I am interested in computers and I feel that coding is fascinating him so I choose this secondary also there is a good Placement in Computer Science and there is a need for computer scientists in India. After all the readers out there I have a piece of advice whenever choosing a career you should know that this career would last after the next 10 or 20 years or not. Talking about my University this year it is going in online mode and the teacher-student ratio is 1: 50. Difficulties are good but still don't rely only on college faculty as you have to work on your own the days of spoon-feeding were the school days now you have to rely on yourself. We have two internal exams and one external exam at a gap of one month each in every semester.

Placement Experience

3.5

I am just a first-year student so I have no experience of placement for an internship but still, I am from seniors I know that more than 500 companies come to Chandigarh University and most of them are Mas to cutest and have an average salary of 5LPA. The highest package this year was 36 lpa, For getting a nice package you have to maintain at least 8 CGPA and who good coding

Fees and Financial Aid

Chandigarh University is a private University and in India, we know that private colleges have high fees so the fee is 80000 per semester. I know this is a decent amount but good students are given a lot scholarships. For scholarships, you can give the entrance exam of Chandigarh University or you can also graph scholarship based on class 12th and JEE Mains Important note This scholarship is for one year and can be continued if you get a 7.5 CGPA which is easy to crack if you take the study seriously.

Campus Life

3

I took admission in 2020 the pandemic year you cannot go to the campus I am selling online business but still interest online Chandigarh University is celebrating virtual fest and they are really good. Some of the big fests are: Tech invents, aghaas, tech-o-month, Genesis, hackathons. The club and Society culture reserve there are many student present society is real and even small clubs you can make on your own. I am a part of tech societies. They are really productive. Famous tech clubs are: www.hackoverflow-cu.com and IEEE. Please search names on Google and refer to their website. The library we are not provided any virtual library they mention it that they are providing a virtual library but actually didn't provide it maybe there is a library in offline mode I don't know about it. There is a nice sports culture along with this defense forces trainings are also given

Other Applied Colleges

Bits pilani | Btech CSE

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
