Remarks

I applied for the SMVDU earlier but due to high fees expenses there as compare to TBS I opted to take admission in TBS. I have availed no quota during the admission process. For taking admission here, one needs to have 50% marks in their graduation and either clear the CAT/MAT and further have to clear the GD/PI rounds to get admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I did my graduation in B.Com, so I have only two options to go with for my PG either i could go for the M.COM/MBA as MBA is a professional course that's why i opted for it. There are 8 teachers and 50 students in the batch. The faculty members are highly qualified and have years of teaching experience. The term exams conduct timely and is easy to clear.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 76000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, etc. visit the campus for the internships provided to students and take the interview of the students before providing the internship to the individuals and i got the role of the marketing and selling of their products which was not an easy task.

Placement Experience

At the beginning of the 3rd-semester students become eligible for the campus placements and Companies like Coca-Cola, HDFC, Pepsi visits here for providing jobs to the students and the avg. the salary they offer is 6lakh-9lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

In a comparison of other colleges, the fees hike policy of TBS is really reasonable and affordable and moreover TBS also provides Scholarship opportunites to the students from the weaker section an the avg stipend provide by the compnies during the internship period is 6000-8000.

Campus Life

Youthruva is the fest organized and conducted by the university where students from the various departments take participate with full enthusiasm. Yes, there is the availability of books and journals in the library with the latest edition. Due to covid-19 the classes are conducted online mode so I don't know about what kind of amenities are present in the classroom. As much as I got to hear about the sports and extracurricular activities from the seniors I got to know that various inter-college sports activities are conducted by the university. ABVP and NSUI are the two social groups run by the students.

Interview Experience

The topic of the GD was "Social Media Marketing" and the candidates who cleared this round got a call/email from the campus and PI round was conducted through online mode due to the Covid-19 restrictions and for preparation for this round, I took the help of my elder sister and internet too.

Likes

The course is very much affordable as comparison to the other colleges providing the MBA
The Campus environment is very much eco friendly
Well qualified staff that too very much experienced

Dislikes

Small batch size the total size of the batch is almost 60 -65 students
Self finance seat costs almost 3 lakh rupees in addition to the course fee
There is much provision for the reservations

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements from 3rd semester itself. The companies that provide placement in the department are ICICI BANK, AMAZON , ITC, BIRLA OPUS, HDFC BANK and many other . The ICICI Bank offers the highest package i.e. almost 10 lakh .

Being consistent is more important than being motivated

Likes

The library of the college is good I mean you will get every type of book.
Park is very neat and clean and is maintained very well.
Infrastructure is too good neat and clean.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is not too good I mean very few students gets accomodation
All the faculties are not too supportive to students.
Campus placement percentage is very less (8%)

I choose the course because I was working in a private company as a team leader where I feel still need to learn more management skills to enhance my career at a better place.the faculty of the college is moderate.the semister exams are conducted very timely.

Golden Days of College

Likes

Flexibility of availing library facility when required
Campus is good and needs to be upgraded more.

Dislikes

Even these days where technology is advance, faculties are working as per old module
Campus should be renovated and new technology should be introduced

Remarks:

I choosen CUJ mainly for developing my language ability in English and Hindi, to explore north india by traveling and experiencing food and culture and make friends in all over India by taking admission on central University, now I'm thinking it's almost I achieved

My Experience In TBS (MBA)

I didn't applied for any other college because TBS is one of the reputed university across India and also only 4 kms away from my home that's why I took admission here. I didn't avail any quota for taking admission to inTBS. Based on my MAT score which was good enough to land me offers from various renowned B-Schools (mostly private), I applied only for The Business School, Jammu University. Mba in jammu university

Earlier I applied for the IMS but the location of the college doesn't suit me at all so I dropped the IMS JAMMU. No quota was availed by me to take admission in TBS JAMMU. You need to have 50% minimum marks in your graduation to take admission in tbs Jammu.
