Chandigarh University is one of the average private universities in our country it's very easy to take admission in this university you have to get 60+ marks in your 10+2 and you are eligible for their entrance exams which is cucet after clearing this exam you will get scholarship according to your marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen computer science engineering because of my interest and i have seen that in Chandigarh University they take care of every student and they take care about studies and they have experienced professors and they are available 24/7 for students help

Internships Opportunities

Due to covid we have completed our internship online and we have not experienced that much about companies but overall our experience was quite good we have made lots of projects like we gave created our own website, created ai chat bot, created our own security application

Placement Experience

In Chandigarh University students above the 6 percentile is eligible to sit in college placements and there is lots of companies like Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Intel they have different eligibility criteria . In Chandigarh University highest package is 35 Lakh and placement percentage is approx 85%

Fees and Financial Aid

In Chandigarh University fees is quite expensive for middle-class students but if you are bright student you can get 100% scholarship . But if you're average student then it is going expensive for you . Sometimes university ask for advanced payment for your upcoming semester and if you can't pay then you will be not allowed for your present semester finals

Campus Life

There is lots of fests, seminar, webinar in our university during this covid time our university announced a platform for there students blackboard on which they used to teach and live fest. College have their own online library on which you have to create an account and you will eligible to read any book online

Hostel Facilities

There are lots of hostels inside our campus every hostel has there own roles and regulations i.e that what time hostel gates will get shut. Hostels have different types of rooms mainly students prefer 4 seater rooms which cost 90000 rs per year in which food and electricity, WiFi bill is included. In hostels the main problem is food but in our hostel, we get the best quality food and there is a food table according that we will get food, they have a big mess that more than 100 students can eat together.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

I applied to multiple colleges like SRM Chennai, VIT vellore, and Lovely Professional University(LPU). I got confirmed admisison from all of them. I choose this university cause of the low fees and it is near to the place where I live. Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document. I got a call that you can come to university and attend classes. The admission process of too simple so I never taught of choosing other college at that time....Read More
