Remarks

There are no such minimum criteria for admission but there are criteria for CBSE board students. You can contact the college for confirmation. Due to covid, there was no counseling. I called the admission department and submitted all my documents such as the 10th, 12th board marksheet, aadhar card, and birth certificate. I also got a scholarship through my jee mains rank. CBSE board results are also considered for scholarship and you can write a scholarship test online to avail yourself upto 90% off. Late admission is also considered here.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I always had an interest in computers science, so I opted for it. They take admissions of a large number of students. A single class contains upto 45 students and the faculty to student ratio is low but good enough if you are a good student. All the teachers have decent qualifications but their teaching is not that impressive, but we all know that in college, we have to do the hard work by ourselves, and dependency on teachers becomes less and less. There are 2 mid-semester tests, a really easy 1-hour duration, and finally, a semester final exam which is difficult if we do not study properly .overaall the exams are moderate and we can easily score a good percentage.

Internships Opportunities

4

Till now I have not done any internships but I can tell you it's great based on the review of our seniors. They tell us how easily they get internships and how useful it is for them to get ready for industry

Placement Experience

4

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for placements, and internships are offered from 4 th semester. The no. Of companies visiting is very huge but last year almost 500 different companies visited including the tech giants like Microsoft, google amazon. The average package of BE CSE is 5.4 lakhs per annum and the highest package offered last year was 33 lakhs per annum. The college has a record of highest placement and if you study a little then you will definitely get placed. Its placement percentage is more than 99 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Comparing to other colleges, the fees are quite affordable and you can easily get a scholarship based on your merit. If you have a good score in jee or board exams, then you can directly get a scholarship, or else you can always write the CUCET scholarship test online and can avail upto 90 percent scholarship. The tution fees per semester are 80000 and the hostel fees per year are 90000. You can also avail of transport if you are a local resident near the college. The job opportunities are great and internship opportunities are also numerous. They start the internships in the second year which includes off-campus drives also. The placement opportunities are vast and many big companies visit the campus every year

Campus Life

4

The opportunities other than studies are also very huge here. They are always arranging annual and monthly cultutal programs, different sports activities and the tech feat are also organised on a very large scale. There are 3 libraries and each of them are very huge and contains thousands of books and resources. The class are well equipped and maintained and all the benches are also properly placed. There are different social groups in which you can become a part. They also conduct cultural programs and provide important study materials.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The rooms are small but enough space is provided for everyone. There are options of 3,4,5 member rooms and each of them contains a study table, personal charging ports, a personal wardrobe and there are balconies provided in each room with air coolers for the summer season. The food is decent but none likes hostel food so I cannot say much but the food is very diverse including veg and nonveg. The hostels are very big so there is very much space for everyone and very easy to get. There is always availability of rooms

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
