Remarks
The admission process is very simple as you have to apply online or you can take direct admission on campus also. Criteria for admission is that after 12th passed you can take admission if you have more than 55% in 12th.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was interested in photography. Faculty in this media department are mostly those who have worked in industry and so they teach think perfectly except some. Qualification of the faculties are mainly those who have done Masters and enrolled for Ph.D. There were two MST and one final exam every semester. Mst was of 36 marks each. And Semester exam was of 60 Marks. Sometimes exams were difficult but you have attended classes which attention then it will be surely easy for you to pass the test.
Internships Opportunities
I got the internship through my own connection. Its experience was good had learned mostly thing in this period. Roles offered under the internship are - Content writer, Digital Marketing, Social media marketing, Newsroom work, Print media, Cameraman, Production house, Corporate jobs, Public Relations, Advertising agency, Radio jockey, News channel.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement mostly after semester 5. I don't have the data of companies visited but around 10 companies visited. I cannot tell about the percentage as My session was online due to corona it's difficult for me. Many students got placed. My plan after my degree is to continue with higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I was in a semester - 1 then I used to pay around 45000/- per semester but when I was in semester 3 then around 47000/- per semester I have paid. Sc/st scholarships were provided and many things were there I never applied for any scholarships.
Campus Life
Overall campus life is the best life anyone will have in their life. There many fests are hosted such as tech event, cultural events, and departmental events which are awesome. Classrooms are with projector, Non Ac rooms, Comfortable chair but not in cold. The use of LIFTS is not allowed for Indian students but the same is allowed for international students even those who are from Nepal they can use the lift but local students cannot use which creates unwanted discrimination between students.
