I applied for Chandigarh University, VIT Vellore, BITS Pilani. I did not attend VIT Vellore and BITS Pilani because their admissions were delayed due to COVID-19. Admission Criteria: 60% marks in 12th.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I loved to interact with computers and had a great interest in software development. Faculty ratio= 1:30. Term exams were always on time and it was not so difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies come to our univeristy every year and provide our students great internship opputinities to develop their skills. Roles offered for internship are Software developer intern, Data Science intern ,etc.
Placement Experience
After 6th semster, students become eligible to appear for campus placements. Top MNCs visit our college every year such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Delloite. Highest package offered for software developer is 36 L.P.A.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Structure: 80000/per semester (same for the whole duration). Hostel Fee: 90000/4 seater room, Scholarship is provided on the basis of your performance in entrance exam. Education loan is also provided.
Campus Life
Almost every month 1 fest is organized. The main fest is named CU Fest. All types of sports and extracurricular activities are provided along with amenities. A lot of technical and cultural groups are present such as coding clubs, Entrepreneurship clubs.
Hostel Facilities
All basic facilities are provided like wifi, study room, common room with TV, fully equipped gym. Food quality is fresh and hygenic. For hostels, you have to register during the admission process.
