The college takes the CET entrance exam conducted by devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya after qualifying you got admission to college. there are many quotas for students and admission is based on CET rank. After which there is a counseling process. Then you got your required branch.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course because i'm interested in computers and it has good scope in the future. There is many departments and all departments have experienced faculties, in my department the faculty is very experienced and cooperative they have few PhD faculties too. the exams are semesters based, and they are quite difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Placement members arrange seminars, lectures, and workshops for students to provide supplemental information on careers counseling, interview tec,soft skills development to professional world, students get internship and after this they placed in companies on the position of data analytics engineer, software engineer , developer etc and few students setup their companies like V J films indore, Shrinkcom software Pvt. Ltd ect.
Placement Experience
The college has established a placement cell to maintain campus placement and internship, final year and final semester students are eligible for internship and placement, the placement cell arranges projects for final year students to fulfill partial requirements for awarding the degree, they invite many big companies for campus placement like Wipro, IBM,HUL , Infosys, Tech Mahindra etc and many government organizations too. The davv has booked a record of highest placement it's upto 80%of students get placed with good packages. I have my plans first to get the highest package then I want to work with Apple or tesla as a developer.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a different fee structure for both boys and girls, and for NRI students the fee is 1.5 times of the total fee. There are many scholarships opportunities as davv is the university that comes under government colleges so there are many programs for students to get scholarships on the basis of their ranks in exams and on their ability too. And davv has a record of 100% placements in each department of the university and has the highest package of 20 LPA in INR.
Campus Life
I don't have my own experience of campus life because it's covid time and all the colleges are closed, but previous years students told us about it and they really liked it there is a central library which contain lots of books they have huge amounts of books. the classrooms are not that big but they are good. In davv there is football, cricket, tennis and hockey grounds and for Indore sports there is separate area on the campus of davv there is an Indian coffee house, there are a lot more development areas for students who are interested in social work.
Interview Experience
I only gave CET exam and my admission is on its rank based. I don't gave any interview, in CET there is 75 questions each question contains equal no. Of marks. There is 3 rounds of CET counselling after this there is one GD round.
