Admission to Chandigarh University does not require any entrance exam clearance. You just have to pass 12th for admission in graduate courses. For admission you have to enroll on the CU website and pay 10k or more via online payment and visit the university with required documents, the amount taken will be deducted from the admission fee. OR you can directly visit CU with 10th,12th mark sheet, migration, character certificates, etc and take admission without any online enrollment. One just has a good percentage in his +2 final boards. the procedure is very simple you just have to enroll yourself on CU's official website by paying rupees ten thousand as a registration fee. This all can be done by visiting your near office of CU (located in your locality).

Internships Opportunities

Students when doing their internships they get into very good MNC based companies wherein which helps them to do their Internship there and subsequently they will get placed in that company itself. The students also land up in getting very lucrative packages at the start itself. So in Chandigarh University Internships are good because in the curriculum itself they give more emphasis towards placement-oriented training which helps students to get internships when they take up good companies. Thereby by doing this Chandigarh University is able to build its reputation in the placement sector by offering students more Industry-wide training programs which help them to get placements and internships as early as possible.

For B.tech, if you are still searching colleges and you have the opportunities to put your leg in some other well-known universities in the south you should prefer those but in North India, Chandigarh University is said to be one of the fastest-growing universities, obviously by their marketing agency and yes it is growing fast in student numbers and the area of its infrastructure. Well, there are a lot of factors which may change your opinion but let me state my opinion, by my experience I would say the syllabus pattern is not good, maybe it will get better in coming years, I am a six semester as a student of the engineering department and according to me college has wasted my first 4 semesters by teaching us subjects which won't contribute in me as a part of any organization. Although it's good to have additional knowledge when we are in college it's high time for us and we should be only focused on bettering our skills for placements. Secondly, the syllabus contains the mostly theoretical sub

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee per semester for a student studying in CU is as follows: B.E-CSE=Rs 60000(Tuition fees), Rs 70000(Hostel+Mess fees) CU offers CSE-IBM also i.e. It has a dedicated IBM lab at the campus. B.E-CSE IBM=Rs 80000(Tution fees),hostel fees and mess fees remain the same.

Campus Life

As of now you may be applying for the Chandigarh university or maybe taking admission in. You are going to get an world-class exposure here, YES because it is in Chandigarh and secondly it has students from across the globe. You will feel the ambiance of being one in the hundreds of cultures, here we have students from Africa,Thailand,Nigeria,France and from many other countries(i don't know all of those). We have a perfectly designed curriculum here to get you a good education, all kinds of labs are equipped with all necessary devices and apparatuses. None of the lectures will go null because the teacher-student ratio is soo good here. We also have so many open places here like the Eternal garden near the fountain and believe me it's the most happening place in the university. You will find many of the students(boys+girls) sitting here in the evening gossiping on their endless topics (might you got what I mean). Here, we have only 5 days a week. So, yes you have 2 full days to roam around the cit

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
