Remarks

The admission process is easy. After registering to their official website, they contact you in a short time and the instructor there instructs them till the end. Admission criteria is also very low, which might be 50% marks in 12th standard, and based on marks there are different scholarships similarly there is an exam called CUCET through which we can get a good scholarship, the exam consists of some medium level questions.I had also applied for LPU and Chitkara University, but among these 3 I selected CU because it is good all-over also, it is close to my location.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Everything related to studies is good, some teachers might not be upto the point but majority of them are good and all are well qualified. Student-teacher ratio in online mode is also decent, in practical sessions, there are 30-35 students in a class, and in theory sessions, there are 70 students in a class. Exams are very often, there are exams after every 1-1.5 months, but the difficulty is not too hard, one can pass them with not much difficulty. The workload is too much, assignments and worksheets are extremely often. They teach on a platform called blackboard which is also good, we can get everything related to our studies in one place which makes it easier, so assignments, worksheets, homework, quizzes, notes, and live sessions all are done in one place.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Internships start from 3rd year and I am in 2nd year, So can't really say much about it. But according to the students, it's also good, not something exceptional but good. Some good companies come for internships.

Placement Experience

3.5

Campus Placement is also very good according to the records. But the crowd is really high, which also might be the reason for high placements. So according to the placement perspective, it's good. Don't really know about it but the highest package might be 36LPA something and the average might be 4-5LPA. Placements start from the 4th year while the internships start from the 3rd year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is worse. First of all the fees is very high, but I will not deny, one can get a scholarship easily, but the scholarship is only for one year after that student have to maintain certain marks to continue it. Hostel fees are very high, everyone might not able to afford it. Also, fees submission is extremely strict, we have to submit our complete fees in order to register for next semester, in the second semester we have to submit the fees even before the vacations. If one gets detained, there are high fees to clear that out. So if we talk about fee structure it's really worse. One should only take admission if he/she is sure about the fees structure, the rest of everything is pretty good.

Campus Life

4

Infrastructure is very good, extracurricular is also upto the point. Everything related to the campus is good. Strictness is also really good, so from the patient's perspective, it's an up point. But can't say really deeply because I don't have attended offline class till today, we are studying in online mode only, but I have visited the campus several times and it seems really good

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
