Remarks
I contacted the official number of Chandigarh university present on google and then they guided me throughout the process. For getting admission in BE-CSE, one should have 60%+ in his boards and he Or she should be from a science background. The admission process was quite smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum and faculty members are very good. Faculty: student ratio for practicals is 1:36 and for theory is 1:72. All the teachers are well graduated and they teach very well. Exams are conducted thrice among which 2 are mid sem tests and the third one is the final one. One exam per month is conducted and it's easy to pass if we pay attention in class.
Internships Opportunities
Numerous companies offer internships that are paid and even unpaid. One should have good projects and good knowledge to get an internship. Offers are made. One should just know to grab them. Good companies provide internships with a good stipend.
Placement Experience
Students get an internship at the beginning of the third year and placement at the beginning of the fourth. Many companies like Walmart. TCS, Wipro, Capgemini visits here and there are various offers. Around 122 companies visited the campus last time and offers made was more than 2000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in my time were 80,000 per sem and I got a scholarship of 20% because I scored 60+ in the CUCET exam. Even one can get a 100% scholarship based on his or her boards and CUCET results. The name of the scholarship is the CUCET scholarship.
Campus Life
An annual fest is conducted every year. Many books are available in the library and everyone has the access to use them. Classrooms are well maintained. Sports are initiated pretty well and there is participation for everyone. TCAC, binary cumate, and many more groups and clubs are there which are managed properly. Also, various startups by seniors help us to know the field pretty well.
