Remarks

The process is simply based on merit, jee main. Just you have to contact Chandigarh University then they will guide you further. They will take some advanced payment of 10,000 or 5000 for booking your seat and forces you to pay they say the seat is limited any time they can full but trust me they are all baseless you just take your time and then decide. You also give a cucet exam for scholarship many students are taken up to 70 % so take the exam seriously, the scholarship is available for up to four years but you have 7.5 cgpa minimum for avail the scholarship. But don't make hurry just take you, you also take admission after jee main the 2nd batch is made by university of these students so don't panic. Thanks for reading

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I choose computer science there are also several branches you choose and some have criteria of 75% of the 12th board. There are 2 to 3k students in engineering to be precise maximum in computer science so have to be in the top 20 % of your class. The faculty is average 1 or 2% are good. There are 70 to 80 students in a batch and they are divided into A or B groups only for lab classes, in theory, all attain. The current mode is online as you know, the class are held on blackboard name software in which 30min attending class is compulsory out of 40 min. The teaching method is same as other colleges but there is lots of assignment (10 MCQ ), pre lab (5 MCQ), post-lab ( 5mcq), surprise test (MCQ and theoretical). There is a total 2 mid semesters exams for theory subjects and 1 for the lab after there is the end sem. In theory 60 marks endsem and 40 marks internal but practical 40 marks endsem viva and 60 marks internal including mid sem lab practical pre lab post lab assignment all of this stuff.

Internships Opportunities

3

In internship about the college, I don't know because I don't hear about campus internships. So you are you're on own. But the college is quite good in the industry so it gives some benefits but it all depends on your skills.

Placement Experience

3

Campus placement is good but has to be in your top 20 % of the student in your class to take good placement. You have to also prepare for off campus placement as well as. Because a number Of students are high so have prepared us accordingly.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is high 1.6 lakh per year and the hostel fee is 90k not include in the tuition fee. You can avail scholarship by cucet exam up to 90% yes this is possible up to 4 years. The exam fee is 2k and 2k security fee they take after tuition fee.

Campus Life

2

Online, there is zero campus life just have to take the class and do class homework. The tech event was held but they were online. There is least interaction with seniors online. So I online the life is avg and in offline, I can't say.

Hostel Facilities

3

About the hostel i can't there are ac /non ac rooms in ac there are 3 student and in non ac 3 , 4 , 5 student in room they provide only bed table chair almairh only rest you have to bring matters also . Single and double rooms are also available but first priority is senior student then fresher.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
