Remarks
I have applied for several colleges like SRM University, KIIT Bhubaneswar, JECRC Jaipur etc. but they all are charging very high fees in comparison to their placement rate. that's why I finally opt for Chandigarh university because its fees are fine in comparison to others also the college do many efforts for their student's placement. Admission criteria for my program were like you get admission through your board marks also by your jee marks, there is no minimum age just you have to clear 12th board with passing marks. The admission process is quite simple you just have to apply, after that university itself call you and tell you the further step.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen CSE-AIML because according to me, in future there is a very high demand for this course. there is a good no. of faculty members as compared to students, but now the day's students number are increasing very fastly. Qualification of every faculty member is quite good and also they have a good teaching experience. In each semester there is 2 MST exam in 2 months and at the end there is final theory and practical exams, scoring good marks in them is not so difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Our many college students are performing their internships in big companies like Google, Microsoft etc. CU has the highest no. of patents in India, so you itself can understand the project's outcomes. Staff members also help students in deciding internship companies.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements Many big companies like google, amazon, Microsoft etc and also Mncs are now visiting our college for campus placement The highest package- 36 lakh per annum, the average package is 8-11 lakh per annum. Above 85% of students get placed every year. I want to be a Software engineer.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of BE-CSE-AIML is Rs95000 per semester. Also, you can get scholarships based on board exams and jee and others exams. 12th BOARD: * 10% - 80-85 in 12th. * 20% - 85-90 in 12th. * 50% - 90-95 in 12th. Jee main: * 10% - 100000-125000 rank. * 20% - 75000-100000 rank. * 50% - 50000-75000 rank.
Campus Life
There are many cultural fests for student enjoyment. there are huge books in the library in a college. The classrooms structure is also quite good. There is almost every sport on the college campus and also the qualified coaches are there. There are many social groups like #keepclean #girlspower etc.
Hostel Facilities
There are many facilities in the college like wifi, gym, mess, restaurants, cafe etc in our hostels. Mess food quality is quite good in compared to other colleges. Hostel fees are Rs90000 per year and registration is quite simple you have to just apply for a hostel in the CUIMS portal. There are many PG near our college in Mohali.
