Remarks
1. I have applied for a bachelor of engineering ( computer science ) at Chandigarh University, Chandigarh. the classes are going on from the 1 September in the online mode because of the corona pandemic the campus is not opened for attending a classes there as offline therefore we are attending classes online. 2. No.3. minimum marks - 55% in 12th. 4. admission process was online from home due to the corona pandemic so there was no offline counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview
1. I choose to engineer because I always wanted to be an engineer. It is a highly valuable degree with a good salary. I have a keen interest in computers and it's a system. 2. faculty student ratio is approx 30:1. 3. faculty is highly qualified possessing a PhD degree in their relevant subjects. The teaching method of the faculty is very good. We are taught very nicely, doubts are solved. 4. Term exams are once in 5 months for odd sem exams are in dec-Jan and for even sem exams are in may-jun
Internships Opportunities
Microsoft Amazon Google Adobe Deloitte Morgan Stanley Qualcomm and many more companies. During its summer internship placement drive of the batch 2020-22, the highest internship stipend of INR 1 lac per month was offered.
Placement Experience
Students became eligible for placement in their 7 sem of engineering with around 600+ multinational companies visited Chandigarh University every year for placement. The highest package offered till now is 36 LPA and average package is around 7 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is over 90 percent. My plan after getting the degree is to become a developer in engineering field.
Fees and Financial Aid
1. fee for engineering is around 75 to 80 thousand per semester without any scholarship. 2. there is CUCET a common entrance test for availing scholarships on all programs for students who are financially week can apply for this scholarship exam.
Campus Life
cultural events are organised example " Aagaaz" a fresher party event held every year the month of august and september. There ia a good opportunity for students who want to pursue their career in sports they can join sports and various other extracurricular activites which are also held on campus every semester
Hostel Facilities
Every hostel room hai seprate bed with study table for every student. Now coming to hostel mess the food is good as compared to other institutions mess. For registration you have to mail the hostel incharge mentioning your requirements of room like 2 seater, 4 seater as you are comfortable
