Remarks

One of my friends recommended this college I gave the CUCAT exam held by Chandigarh University and got qualified and got a scholarship of 4% of the sem fee i.e 4k. The admission process was very easy once you qualified exam then you will receive an admission confirmation email agree them pay 10k amount to book your registration and you joined Chandigarh University.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are good as I joined online and my classes are going online .classes are held on the blackboard which is very convenient and easy to use for faculties as well as students. As I will quality of faculties provided as 6/10. As they as not worst nor best. They are medium-level faculties. Some are really very good teachers they will help you in every aspect for your personal development and skills development.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come for internship programs some are paid some are unpaid .they provide stipends like 30k 40k per month. Every end of your years you have to work on the project. They will provide you institution training of 3 months then you have work on the project and show them to your respective teachers.

I think from the 6th sem you are eligible for campus placement, There are many opportunities available as many companies come for campus placement. companies like Microsoft, google, amazon, TCS also hire freshers for the job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good as compared to other top colleges they have very high fees and the placements process is the same as they have. They provide scholarships on the cucat exam and on jee main, board marks(12th). Your scholarship amount will continue for the next year if you score 7.5 cgpa or above.

I wish I could have written this but opportunity my classes are going online when I joined. I think they have a better campus good environment (I have heard these from our seniors). There are many communities formed by students for the help of students like KC(knowledge catalyst), Coder Lodger, TCAC(The coder association club), BCM(Binary Cumate etc. They have their own website

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document. I got a call that you can come to university and attend classes. The admission process of too simple so I never taught of choosing other college at that time....Read More
