Admission is based on 12th marks and cucat both. Youn has to contact them to tell your marks your choices they will tell you when you have to come to college then you can take admission if you are eligible.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose CSE AIML because I love coding and I want to explore that field. Overall faculty is good but sometimes you can feel bad you have to be very attentive in the class only then you will be able to grab all the things. Even in this time of covid Chandigarh university provide the best way to study and that is BLACKBOARD. Most of the faculty are PhD holders, some are doing PhD, some are Iitians also. Exams- if I talk about exams they take exams very frequently because of this you can feel the burden on you but this is good for you.
Internships Opportunities
Mostly all companies visit here. They offer a good package almost for all roles in the company. There are 5 rounds of the interview process you have to qualify them if you want to get placed. Overall Chandigarh University is a good university here you will get good faculty. The faculty is very good actually.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester, you can apply for placement. Many many companies visit there like Wipro, Microsoft, Google and many more. The highest package for Btech is 33 lakh and almost all students got placed. The average package is 4-5 lakh. I want to get laced in good company.
Fees and Financial Aid
If we talk about fees you can feel fees are high but according to college infra and faculty, fees is normal. You can get a scholarship up to 50% if u pass the CUCAT exam with good marks. They provide scholarships on 12th and JEE mains marks also. If you have good marks either in 12th or in jee mains then you can avail the good scholarship. Then you have to maintain above 7.5 if you want to continue your scholarship next year.
Campus Life
Annual fees for AIML is 196000. College life is good. They conduct many many events. You will get many opportunities like coding competitions, workshops, institutional training, and many many more. Most of the books are available and good library good infrastructure. In a good classroom, you will not feel any bad things there. There are many extracurricular activities. Many many clubs are there.
Hostel Facilities
Good rooms, AC non Ac both available. Good quality food. High security, free wifi, free gym. Pizza, burgers all are available. Roti sabji chawal in the meal. YOu can register through your CUIMS portal for the hostel. CUIMS- it is a portal for students where your attendance, timetable, hostel info, exam marks and all things are available.
