In cu you get admission through cucet examination. Through which you get scholarship upto 100% according to your marks. Then counsellor call you regarding your details. Admission process is smooth there is no problem in the process of taking admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose computer science engineering because I have interest in technical and I want to enhance my skills through this course. It will provide you great opportunities in field of IT sector. There is 2 to 3 section in one class and every section has 30 students,so there is not crowd in class so that you can ask your doubts easily. Teachers are qualified most of them hold there degree in masters and PhDs. But some teachers are not good in online mode it is difficult to tell about the teacher properly. In 1 semester there is 2 mid semester and end semester level of exam is moderate. One can pass exam easily in online mode.
Internships Opportunities
Chandigarh University have lot of internship opportunities in campus for CSE students and as well as for all the streams. some internships are offered by the topmost MNC’s such as INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, Tech MAHINDRA and many more. Campus like CU not only teaches you but enhances your skills. The best part is that If you have any Idea than CU helps students to patient their idea. CU gives many facilities to their students as well as teachers too. Every department provides expert lectures and workshops to their students. Most of the time saturday is working, on saturday you will have extra lectures and workshops. And one more thing there is no competition of placement of Chandigarh university in placements. and you get highest package.
Placement Experience
B.Tech in Computers and when the time came of placement, university flooded the companies like thing.One after the other that too big brands like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, SAL labs, Practo, Josh Technologies, PayU Payments, Unisys, D.E. Shaw, Gemini, John Deer, Cubastion, deloitte, Sapient and many more. If I talk about big MNCs' the list goes more stronger - Cognizant, Wipro , Tech Mahindra, Capegemini, MindTress, Polaris, IBM, NewGen, Zycus . You can also get off campus placement. I preferred on campus placement
Fees and Financial Aid
Computer science and engineering fees is 80000 per semester. Student with scholarship gets benifit in fees if you get 50% scholarship you get 50% off on tution fees and you have to pay 40000 per sem and for maintaining scholarship you have to get 7.5 cgpa+ in next semester to avail scholarship. Many companies visit to cu campus during placement and you get chance to heir in big companies according to your skills.
Campus Life
Doesn't know anything about life at the campus because get admission during covid in 2020 and 1 year goes online completely and still going online. Hope campus life is good and waiting for reopen. There is library in college and many tech societies are there you can participate in any of them according to your skills.
Hostel Facilities
There are 2 options available if you want to stay in Hostel at Chandigarh University. Non Ac room. Ac Room. Now, coming to the fee of hostel,pays an amount of Rs90k per annum for Non Ac room four seater. This includes my Room rent, mess fee and water bills. Electricity charges are extra depending on my usage. Now if you are going to take admission in the upcoming session. Now coming to the food they offer. If you are a vegetarian u'll love the food they give. Paneer twice a week and there's change in everyday food. If you love non- Veg. ,, u'll get Chicken every Wednesday and Egg Curry every sunday. Complimentary sweetdish which includes Rasgulla, Gulabjamun and few more things.
