Remarks
For admission, I had to fill the form of 500, then after filling everything I got to submit 10000 for the admission confirmation. I applied for some colleges like Amity university, but the fees were high for me there. No, I didn't have any quota availed. The criteria for admission was to have at least 75% marks in the 12th board. No there was no counselling, the moment I submitted the 10000, I got admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Everything is well arranged here, timely done. I wanted to go into the IT sector so I chose the CSE branch. Well each section is of about 90 students, and approx 8 subjects go on, and each teacher take classes of 3 sections. So it's not so good ratio, it's quite low actually. Most of the teachers are young here, less experienced too, but they understand us I can say this. The term exams come so fast, like don't get enough time and the other term dates come. It's a little hard to manage all.
Internships Opportunities
Most companies that visit here give the internship first after selecting students. Companies like Schwing setter, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, hp, dell, directi, cognizant, Deloitte, sapient, Hitachi, practo, jb, zomato, VMware, HCL, IBM, Apollo, jsw, Microsoft, niit, Tata.
Placement Experience
Well in this college they provide a very variety of placement offers. After the 5th semester, students become eligible for placement. There are so many companies that visit here! But the placemat package is mostly low here, most of them are approx 6 lakhs here, some rarely go to 30 lakhs like companies of Google and Microsoft provide. I would like to continue studying Mtech. after clearing Gate exams from some IITs.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I took the admission it was 80000 per semester and 2000 for exam charge. Now the new charge is 90000 per semester by this year. There are no such fees hike here, I will have to pay the same fees till the 4th year. There's a scholarship exam conducted by CUCET, which provides up to 50% scholarship if you perform well. Also here they give loans to students for studying.
Campus Life
Well, I don't have much information about those right now. So I would prefer not to say anything. Cause u want only genuine answers. But as I got to know from seniors, the tech fests are regular here, many fests are conducted here. The libraries are good, lots of books are there, we can borrow them. The campus is also big in size, sports department is too active here.
Hostel Facilities
My room is 4 seater, so there's 4 beds, 4 tables, 4 chairs, 4 cupboards here. The room size is very small, it's a little congested. Common bathroom on the floor. The food provided is acceptable here, veg and Non veg both provided. Not no such issue in the quality. The registration process is simple, from your account on CUIMS ask for the room and a fees payment portal will appear.
