Remarks
In MBA, you can get admission through CUCAT or directly also on basis of your graduation marks. I have also applied for Amity or Jaipuria institute but didn't go for it because of their high fee structure. As Chandigarh University has a low fee and good fame I go for it and get my admission done.
Course Curriculum Overview
Student Ratio with faculty is good enough, likely in 1st semester we have 125 students in class, we get easily clear our doubts and having good interaction with professors. The teaching method is via Blackboard due to this pandemic, but It's a good experience, faculty is so cooperative and exams are on AMCAT aspiring mind system, they also get a good experience. Overall I give 8/10 to the University faculty.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies came for internships like TOI, Onscab, first cry, Bajaj finance, Asian paints, career domain, intellipath and many more and University is helping students who didn't get any internship by providing them with a project under the guidance of teachers.
Placement Experience
As I'm prompted to 2nd year now, I find placement rate is quite good, like many of students get placed. But due to the pandemic rate of Internship with stipends is so low. The average package offered to my batch till now is 4-8 lakh pa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is so affordable. Especially in my MBA course like we know MBA fee structure is so high. But CU has only 3.6 lakh for two years i.e 90k per semester. They also provide various scholarships on basis of cucat or in graduation marks.
Campus Life
The availability of notes on the blackboard is so good, having great content enough for exams. Some professors also provide e-book pdfs and study material. There are so many events going on in university about sports, entertainment, competition etc. and A tech event is also organised where we had met with Philip's Kolter. As I don't have physical classes but I have to join the NSS team of the University. So many activities are organised by them also.
