Remarks

I just applied through my jee mains marks which were near about 83.64 percentile they took my admission. I was given a choice to give CUCET exam which I did. The exam was quite simple and the questions were Ncert based and basic only. I scored quite well after that I was given 20% scholarship then I booked my seat after paying 10000

The questions were above average. About we are giving online exam which is MCQ based and everyone is scoring easily but they will miss this in offline mode. Sometimes there is a technical problem also because of which we get fewer marks

Internships Opportunities

Internships are from Government and non Government also they suggest us good interns teachers are helpful they give full support and they provide a certificate which is national and international based.

Placement Experience

70% students gets placements here average placements are around 8 lakhs and Highest is of 32 lakhs which was from Microsoft. Big companies like Microsoft and Google come here every 2 years. But is not easy to crack there Job there are more than 1500 students in CSe

Fees and Financial Aid

I think Chandigarh University is the cheapest private engineering college with Nice fame and name. People from different parts of countries study here. If anyone is having any financial problem then he/she can get a scholarship which will help further

Campus Life

There are all kinds of club Cricket Football Badminton dance drama and all Stuff Demerit is that there is no swimming pool on campus Overall campus is nice Hostels are also there inside and outside too. You all must visit campus it is surrounded by farming lands all around

Hostel Facilities

You register for hostel offline or online as well the hostel is the strict entry and exit times are strictly followed and even warden are even friendly there is tuck shop barber shop and stationery and all outside every hostel everything is well maintained

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

I applied to multiple colleges like SRM Chennai, VIT vellore, and Lovely Professional University(LPU). I got confirmed admisison from all of them. I choose this university cause of the low fees and it is near to the place where I live. Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document. I got a call that you can come to university and attend classes. The admission process of too simple so I never taught of choosing other college at that time....Read More
