Entrance Preview

UPTU, approx 8800 general rank. Heard of good review for its CSE and BIO TECH branch. It was the best college + placements were good at that time. Even today more and more companies are coming to this college.

Internships Opportunities

The college Does not provide any internship. However people can teach here after completing their courses. There is a formal interview process and then you can join there as ASP.

Placement Experience

3.5

Infosys, WIPRO, TCS, Syntel were major recruiters. WIPRO, TCS and Infosys were mass recruiters. Usually 50-60% placement will happen for sure. Major branches CSE, EC,EI, IT. Some of the core companies also come here for ME, CH, BT branches. But placements are very low for these. Highest Package for IT is 4.5 LPA MIN Package for IT is 1.5 LPA. Many Students gets selected into GATE, CAT from this college.

Exam Structure

3 Internal Exams per semester. Best of 2 marks will be counted. 500 marks are assigned for internal exams and 500 marks are assigned for external exams. Overall percentage is a combination of both. Students score 499/500 in internal exams. Internal exams has bigger role for Good percentage. Usually, 75% is considered a good percentage.

Admission

You can attend UPTU entrance Exam, AIEEE entrance Exam, JEE entrance Exam. I got it through UPTU Counselling. It happens in LUCKNOW usually in IET. After Locking the college on the selected day, you will have to go the next day for checking which one is allocated to you. It requires 10,000 draft in favour of UPTU to attend Counselling along with 500 rs fee.

Faculty

3.5

There was a lack of expertise in field of the faculty. All the faculties which were available do not have any core knowledge of the subject. They used to read and teach to others. Even Internal examinations are very tough here. Attendance is very much required at least 50%. Due to integration of BSC, MSC and B.ed course, the college is losing its reputation.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam
