Still Progressing

I have given JEE main exam and got little low marks so, unable to get admission in IITs or NITs. So applied to Bihar Engineering colleges. I selected some top colleges of Bihar but, did not got that. At last I just opted this college. This college location is very comfortable for me, that's why I choose this college. I also applied my BC reservation quota for admission. Reservation is applicable as per Bihar Government rules. Qualification requirements were like for B.Tech, one should have passed 12th with maths or passed Diploma for lateral entry basis.

My course which is B.Tech in Civil Engineering is very good. This branch has many job scopes. I came to know about this by my friends and family members. Our college has nice faculty members. There are about 100 faculty members in all. They are all knowledgeable and experienced. Many faculty members have completed their M.Tech, B.Tech and PhD also. With our faculty members' effort and care, we are able to pass our semester exams easily. We have to do some hard work also for passing and scoring good marks in the semester exams. Semester exams are held timely every year.

Our college has a nice infrastucture and everything is well. However, in terms of placement our college is not that much good. We have got a Training & Placement Cell for the campus placements, which is continuously trying to give training to our students and attract more and more companies to our college for the campus placement. Our teachers, our students and every staff member of our college are working hard for that. However, our students are able to get jobs through the pool campus which is held in our university. Also, many students get the placement through other means.

College fee is very minimal as compared to many colleges. It is about rupees 10,000 per year, which can be afford without having any problem. Also for the SC/ST students fee is much much lower. No other charges are there which is hidden. Scholarships are available for the students, provided by the Bihar Government and also by the central Government. Bihar Government scheme "Student Credit Card Yojana" which can be availed by any student from Bihar. Through NSP Portal also many schemes can be availed.

Our college hs a nice library, classroom, playground, and campus. Our library is nice with all the books and journals which are important for us are there. The classroom has got a nice arrangement for teaching and learning, which is comfortable. Many facilities are there and many facilities are coming and will be available soon. For the sports and games activities, we have all the arrangements. We have got a playground for playing cricket, football, etc. Many festivals and special occasions we celebrate together with our teachers and students in our college. Also, some tech fest and annual functions are organized every year.
