Chandigarh University takes an Entrance/Scholarship Exam Where they offer up to 100% Scholarship. I have given that exam and I got a 20% scholarship. The admission process was not really difficult As you know this is a private university so you get admission really easily. Admission criteria were if you have 60% or above in 12th then you can take admission in this university.

I was interested in the CSE branch and I have got a 20% scholarship through the CUCET exam so I decided to go into this college overall review was good. The faculty of this university is Good I can't say it's great but they more often than not corporate with the students and Seniors are also really supportive and Also the teachers in 1st year you will going to see not so experienced teachers around but after 2nd year you will see experienced teachers they are highly qualified. In this university, you have to give 2 Mst and a final semester exam. If you are an average student study 1 week before the exam you will pass the exam but in some subjects, you have to work hard and work on your skills.

University offers many Companies internship opportunities you can apply and with your knowledge and skills, they select you. Paid internship programs and many boot camps run by universities to guide you in every possible way.

After the 6th Semester Campus placements started and If you have maintained your CGPA above 7.5 then you are eligible to sit in every companies placement. But if you have less cgpa then you will not be able to sit in Top Companies so make sure you maintaining your CGPA. More than 700 Companies visiting Campus including Amazon, Microsoft, Google, IBM, etc In 2021 25 students placed in Microsoft and the highest package was 25 LPA. In 2020 highest package was 36lpa in Amazon.

80,000 per semester fees and 2000 examination fees per semester and the hostel charge are 90,000 per year including mess. University takes CUCET exam every year you can register yourself and give exam online and University also helps in taking an Education loan. Placements of this university are good packages for the average student is 5-9 LPA.

University conducts many events every year. The fresher's party of this university is really famous many famous celebrities have visited the campus. It also conducts an annual fest, tech fest and celebrates every festival. University also supports sports students of this university have played nationally in various sports. University has a Library, mostly you will get a book of your choices and University to have e-library as well. Students also run various groups that contribute to open-source make many projects.

The price of the Hostel is 90,000 per year and University has 4 boys hostel in 2 hostel lift is available and capable of 1,2,3,4&5 students in a room is available. A/c Non A/c both available mess food is good they offer various kinds of food mostly Punjabi but the food is tasty. And If you want to take a PG or flat that is also available near Chandigarh University. University is located in Village area but peaceful place.
