I Had applied for various colleges like SRM,VIT but cu give more placement oppotunities thats why i choose it for my enineerg I applied for jeemanis and get adission through my jee rank and get scholarship also in semester fees Admission cretrian is you should atlest pass in 12th board.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose CSE in enginnering because CU provied more opportunities to get placed in tech giants like MIcrosoft,Amazon ,Goole are come to campus for placements Facility student to faculty ration in Chandigarh University is approx 36 :1 in class Mostly faculty are PHD holder and well educational background and more than 10+ experienced. Semester term exam scheduled twice a year and and in each sem we have two mid term test then final semester exam
Internships Opportunities
Chandihgarh university provide best internship opportunities in Amazon,Microsoft etc as role of SDE intern in amazon etc. from this internship students can convert their internship in to the ppos(pre placement offer) cu provide help in get selected in these companies through tpp their course
Placement Experience
Studetns becoe eligible for placements 6 sem onwards like some tech gians take students in 6 sem. this year around 751 comapanies visited CU which include Microsoft,Amazon,Deloite,Arcesium and many more etc they made more than 7000+ offers and highest placement is 36LPA given by arcesium in campus placement in cse engineering. arround 90% students who are eligible and fulfil plaement cretrian which may vary from company to company like last timr microsoft fixed 8.0 cgpa and above are eligible,and average package is around 7-8 lpa of cse department in Chandigarh university.
Fees and Financial Aid
I think fees in Chandigarh University in not so high as we compare to the other colleges like SRM,VIT,Manipal and return of investement is good in cu ,you get placed if you work upon DSA,and Commumnication Skills more . Chandigarh University provide Schlorship like through JEE MAINs,JEE ADVANCED,CUCET( exam cinducted by Chandigarh University) , they also provide loadn facilities to students to fill their semester fees I Got scholarship through my jee mains rank is 20% ,i am still preparing for internship
Campus Life
College fest is CUFEST every year. large library with more than 120000+ books and 30000+ journals. Nice well structured classrooms and good infracture. it has all sports except swmming pool , i has like cricket ground,football,basketball,badmintion,vollyball etc CU has student welfare department which provide help any time o students, CU has student portal CUIMS which students can access
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility in cu is nice and clean they provided a bed and fix desk for stuying ,almirah to each and every stuedents seperately. hostel food is nice and good quality, and have various menu items on each day. registration process of hostel is essy and affordable to each and every student. loacality is nice there are many p.g ,rooms for ren near by college at very less distance
