Course Curriculum Overview

I want to do a BTech in Cs. I will apply for the gate for job in psus .. I love coading . Teaching is good. Helpful teacher. Mst1,2 and final exam in each semester. Overall good faculty and campus. Teachers teach on the blackboard where student can share their screens. Time to time assignments provided which help in learning

Internships Opportunities

Very good in internships. Many companies provide internships. You learn during the internship many things and many students join internship programs on our campus which will increase more job opportunities in the private sector.

Placement Experience

Good placement. Opportunity for students. 34 lac highest package. Average package 5lack. Mostly from computer science students getting placement.7.5 chap required for sitting in placement. Google Amazon TCS Wipro like company visit our college for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is little but high. You can get scholarships on basis if 12 board percentage and jee rank. Host fees is 81 k . Lift and gym available . WiFi also Available. Overall good campus. Internship available. Many job opportunities in Cs and others engineering subjects. Overall vgood in placement . Little higher price of each semister but 85pecent and above u can get 20 Percent scholarships. U may take admission. Overall vgood college for engineering.

Very good campus life. Ragging free campus. Nice and supportive teacher and staff. Many caricullam activities. Many sports available. Many game available to play. Big library. All books available . Nice facility. Nice classroom. Clean and hygienic campus.

Hostel Facilities

Nice room . Supportive staff.. helpful teacher . Nice meal. Good food quality. Hygiene maintains. Tasty food. Supportive staff. Cleang cafeteria. Clean water. Clean food . Many variations in food. Veg non veg available.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

I gave cucet but can't find the college that have cse in their colleges. That time my father was recently posted in chandigarh as chandigarh university was very close to me and the transport is also easy and I don't have to pay the hostel fees and I can be a day scholar also so I choosed this college as it provide a good network of peoples. The admission process was to simple ,I just applied for their entrance online exam cucet and booked a slot gave online test of 100 mcq from the selected domain and after that I got scholarship and to confirm my seat I have to pay 10000 part of my semester fees (that 10000 was from my semester fees) and after doing online formalities and upload document. I got a call that you can come to university and attend classes. The admission process of too simple so I never taught of choosing other college at that time....Read More
