You can take admission directly or you can also give CUCET scholarship test for the scholarship. Chandigarh university entrance test has three phases namely CUCET-I, CUCET-II and CUCET-III. Each phase will be running one by one and early comers are availed extra benefits. After logging on to the CUCET website, candidates have to register by filling his/her proper details such as NAME, ADDRESS, MARKSHEET and CONTACT NUMBER. After successful registration, you have to download or purchase e-Prospectus which cost 1000 and its mandatory so that you can appear in cucet exam. After the Cucet result, you get to know how many scholarships you got and how much fee you have to pay. After that, if you want to take admission on cucet scholarship then you have to pay a minimum of 10,000 as part payment of your college fee. It is not an extra fee it will be included in your college fee.

Basically, If you are interested in Computer programming then go for this course as I am a programming lover so that I had choose this course. Never choose your stream or course if you are not interested in it. All teachers are good and if you face any problem regarding teachers then you can contact hod and ask them for replacement. Other than this you have to do self study also. There is two midterm exam between every semester with theory and practicals and lastly, there is one final exam. You get marks based on midterm and final exams. Midterm is easy. You just have to give the MCQ exam based on the topic taught in class.

You can get internships in 3rd year you just have to apply to good companies for an intern. I recommend joining paid intern it will boost your confidence that you are going to earn for your hard work. You have to participate in many activities and competitions to show your skills. You have to participate in orientation, training and campus competition like a hackathon.

More than 50+ good and big companies (like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro and many more) came to cu in search of Good employees. In the third year, there are special classes that teach you how to sit in placements and what type of question is being asked. Some students get placement in the last of the third year by applying to campus companies. You can sit in placement according to your cgpa so study hard and gain at least 8 + cgpa in every semester. Good cgpa means a good opportunity to sit in big companies placement( like amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft and Google).

Likely, Other college CU fee is more. But it will also provide a good campus and good teachers. They also organise a different platform for students to show their talent and skills. You can also get an internship under a good company sometimes non-paid and sometimes paid. More than 50+ big companies came to CU to hearing students. There are lots of seniors who got good placement. You just need is knowledge and a good cgpa.

CU Campus is tooo vast. They organise many functions for students like tech event and hackathon. many bollywood celebrity came to cu and there were many live concert happened. International students are also here.Students came from different countries USA, Nigeria and Thailand also. Seniors created different social groups and they also run NGO.

Hostel is too good. There are solo,two sitter,three sitter and four sitter rooms. Every room is included with a study table,a book rack , a bed , a wardrobe and a common washroom. Hostel provide pure RO water and security check while entering. There is a vast mess where stiudents take their meals 3 times daily. Hostel is sanetized on daily basis and every student enter hostel with temperature check and proper mask. Other than this if you want to live in PG then you have to search for a good PG outside the university. According to me if you are fresher then go for college hostel in 1st year and if you are not satisfied with hostel then in 2nd year go for PG option.
