Chandigarh University as you know a top industry-leading university. I thought in the 12th class that I take admission only in cu and when results are declared, my admission process started. I dialed the phone number of Chandigarh university and here I talked to a counselor who give me full information ab my admission course, fees, hostels, scholarships, placements, and all over. then I finalize to taken admission to the university and they gave me a 50 % scholarship on my tuition fees for one year and told me that if I maintained 7.5 cgpa and above then we will continue this scholarship. as come from a middle-class family, this scholarship proves really helpful. There were no such criteria of minimum marks but if you got good marks, then a good scholarship is waiting for fo you. On my admission day, my counselor said me to pay 10000 for registration so that my seat has been fixed. then I got registered and my classes starts after three days, and after taking the first-day class.

I choose Computer science and engineering because as we saw today there is an era of digitalization and coders are the main part of this digitalization. everything has gone easy because coders invent new software which is useful and proves good for the digitalization era. for every faculty, there are 72 students of a class in which two groups are divided of each 36 students. So faculty-student ratio is very good and acceptable. If we talk about the qualifications of the faculty, mostly are PhDs and good. the teaching method is also good. as now online teaching method going teachers shares pdfs, ppts and some use blackboard also so that students can understand easily. so I can say teachers doing hard work and study students. As we talk about examinations, these are held on a monthly basis as Msts held after every 2 months and some percentage of Msts is taken in the semester examination, and then total results are marked. the examination is the average basis not so easy and so hard.

After you completed a year they provided internships and give projects so that our teamwork showed and we follow our capability of doing work because they make students ready for industry-based. the semester ends in may end and internship after some days of ending the semester.

placements are 100 percent in our university. More than 800+ companies like google, amazon, Microsoft, IBM, etc visit our campus. the highest package offered is 36 lakh per annum. from the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements if they will follow all the challenges. no students without placements is recorded. The placement cell is very active.

fees structure for my course is as follows: 80000/- per semester(tuition fees) 81000/- for hostel fees(5 seaters) They provide scholarships on your jee main score, 12th class result, and also on CUCET examination University provides 100% placement with many high tech giant companies like Microsoft, IBM, google, amazon, etc

Campus life is beautiful as we can say. we can hang out there with friends. many lawns are there and the environment is also clean.There are many shops inside the campus by which you can buy things. university organizing the annual tech fest in the month of September. classrooms are too hygienic and well fitted with projectors. there is a huge library present on the campus in which every possible book you want to read you can find there. they also focus on sports. may sport like volleyball, football, cricket, hockey, swimming, racing is present. the social group in which only student works is the department of student welfare.

The hostel facility is too good. I am staying in Zakir(5 seater hostel) which costs me up to 81000 per year which they provided four times food which contains breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and dinner. highspeed wifi, 24*7 electricity, clean toilets, hair saloon, a separate studying table, a separate almirah is there. canteens are also present in the hostel. the quality of meal they provided is better and many more types of food they offer in every other time. if you want to register for the hostel then you simply have to go to your CUIMS account which will be activated when you registered and there is an option for registering the hostel.
