You should go for other college, not for DTC as per my opinion.

I didn't apply for any of the colleges, But I have given the exam IPU CET i. e. Indraprastha university common entrance exam, through this exam, ranks allotted to the students (based on marks I guess) and according to the ranks counselling was divided in the several days, like students ranking 1-1000 will come to the university and counselling will be done and according to the ranking to IPU CET colleges were allotted to the students, many of the colleges in Delhi NCR are affiliated to GGSIPU, Therefore according to my rank and counselling date, I was allotted DTC, there were 3-4 options available but I chose DTC to ease my travelling and my sister also studied from this college. I'm from the general category, didn't avail any quota. As I already mentioned above I was given the IPU CET exam for admission in BTech, criteria were there should be a min. 55% aggregate in PCM 12TH Results. no age limit was there I guess. for all of the Btech courses, there was this exam only IPU CET. Counselling mentioned.

I'm currently in 4th year(7th semester), since 1st year 1st semester, term exams are conducted by the management after 30-45 days of commencement of a new semester, every semester there will be an internal examination after 30-45 days, then practicals, and at the end, end semester exams will be conducted by the GGSIPU. The difficulty level of the internal exams is quite good, they check the knowledge, check the applied knowledge of the student. In internal exams, there will be only two units of your syllabus, And marks will be recorded for these internal exams. But all of the concepts that used to come in our exams, were already taught by the teachers. If a student is regularly taking the classes can pass the exam but not that much easier but if you are bunking classes then there would be a chance of failing the exam. Many of the students don't think much about the exams and all, and hence failing in the end. this should not be done, the level of term exams are pretty much good.

6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. many companies including pepcoding, Wipro, Thorogood, DXC etc. visited our college for placements. The highest package that offered by pepcoding was 9LPA CTC, and the average package was around 2-3 LPA CTC. for junior software. Only 30-40% of students placed every year in my course through campus selections. Most probably I'll be doing Masters after the degree.

Fees for my course fees was 110000 in the first year, then 112750 for the second year, then 114750 for the third one, and 114750 for the final year(taken by the institute). There is a policy of Institute, that therefore can be a hike in fees in any year without any prior notice. There are no scholarships that were offered by the institute to any of the students, Financial assistance is given in the very rare case in the form of an instalment, you can pay you in instalments. No jobs were given by the institute.

Vikiran, the name of our technical fest that is conducted by our core stream society formed by the students i. e. Ramdon Solutions, mostly the vikiran fest held in winters around February. And there are many other societies in the college run by the students only i. e. Dance society drama society technical society Awaaz society etc. There are a lot of books related to the courses offered by the college and other reading materials, college magazines and many other books. the library is well maintained. Classrooms have enough space for 50-60 batch size, Well maintained full Ac Etc. No sports facilities and extracurricular activities are not available in college at all. clubs and society I already mentioned above. No other social groups or websites are there.
