Entrance Preview
Entrance exam underwent : CET, What made you choice the Course : I had completed by Diploma in Computer Science and was looking for same stream. Although my seat was free seat according to diploma Quota we had, i was only left with paying the college fees for rest of 3 years. This includes CET fees which was paid in first year.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Structure was very good. keeping in a mind of our college first out going batch, all the units in each sem was covered fully. And many times important and topics are reexplained, this explained giving a demo of single topics by each students there by improving the knowledge and gaining the experience of giving a demo.
Internships Opportunities
We are not sure about this since after i passed out, i have not heard anything like this. may be now they are offering. But when we were part of this college, no internship was available.
Placement Experience
Placements was excellent. there was separate placement community group created with an COO officer to look after. many students was hired to different company in our first out going batch. Companies like SPAN, Birla soft, Honey well, etc. They were offering nearly 2.5 to 3 for some people and for some nearly 4. After our batch, i have heard that there are people who are getting more than this in their campus selection.
College Events
We have a great well known, Cultural Festival like SENTIA which brings all colleges in south canara and also college listed under Mysore category in CET. This includes routine involvement of any famous POP, Folk or any other group performing. We have a rain dance which always gives boys and girls time to cheer up and there by ending the festival always in grand. Tech festivals were also included like Code, HACATHON etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since i was passed out and an diploma holder, we had a Diploma quota. My fees structure were around 25 k college and 30k CET and govt fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship was provided to many students. And many students were having loan facility done to cover up there education.
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome, and Gender ratio and diversity would not be a big questions when you are here to make a friends and then learn and enjoy your each step of Graduation. Sports even were annually held. Culture festivals includes debates, skits, dance, Music, completion between colleges , inter college fest, and debates were held in month of April.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, alumni group is active only when there is some functions. They would send us an invite. To meet people college even make alumni function in Bangalore keeping in mind many of them are working here.
Exam Structure
Although yes, we had exams and labs very frequently, this made us to get used it to. at the end of the day, we were normal when facing a semester examination. Regular labs and exams there by increase our positiveness in taking up the exams and increased our confident.
Faculty
Faculty of our college although there were many graduates who had completed B.E and were teaching us, there were many professor who had experience more than 10 years to guide them. So teaching was always kept to mark and there by guiding the students where ever individual is lagging.
