It is the best university with good placements and infrastructure.

I had applied for many colleges like IP university, Bits Pilani, pec Chandigarh etc even I got clear the exams of every college but did not get computer science as a stream then I heard from someone that Chandigarh university had good placement records then I visited the campus with my parents. I was district topper in my 12th with 98.6% PCM that's why I got a 50% scholarship in my academics in CU. When I visited the campus I came to know that they offer some specialization courses like AIML, BG, MC, IoT, IS etc . after heard about it I chose AIML as my specialization because all we know in upcoming years AI will be in the scope. The minimum criteria for AIML are 80% above in 12th .that time AIML was not a part of CU IBM that's why it has the same fees structure as General CSE but now it's a part of IBM so the fees structure will not be the same. All the admission process was very smooth and I only deposited 10000 rs just to confirm my seat and after some days I deposited all the money.

When I entered the college all the students came from all over India. I did not have a CSE background like I did not learn any programming language earlier but the students had a good knowledge of languages like java,c++ etc. That time I faced many problems but the facility was very good and helpful they helped me a lot to learn new skills even sometimes they took my doubts after the class in the park or the zoom meeting. after 6 months I reached the same level as other students. Due to specialization in AIML, they started teaching us Machine learning from the first semester and python also that helps me to overcome my fear and made my interest in machine learning. during the whole B.E, they only teach us the subjects which are important for placements and helpful for us in future. All the classes are smart. In CU, there is a special Artificial Intelligence Lab where we can solve real time problems of AI&ML.

There is no company that came for an internship. Chandigarh university will directly provide you placement but not the internship during 2nd and 3rd year. But the teachers helped students alot to make thier resume good. During the 3rd semester we had a subject calles minor projects. after that every semested we have to make a diffrent project. At the end every student made 2 minor and 1 major project for their resume that helps alot during placements.

Chandigarh university had good placements records. Almost every student got placed with a good package. There are approx 500+ companies that visit Chandigarh university like google, amazon, tekion, Microsoft etc. Last year the highest package was offered by amazon to 6 students worth 36 LPA and the average package in CU is worth 8 LPA and the students who were not good at studies also got placements in mass recruitment companies like IBM, Wipro, cognizant etc. The placement percentage of Chandigarh university is 100%. If a student has a good academic record then he/she will easily crack many companies at the same time and got more than 5 offer letters. The placement was started during my 6th semester. At the starting companies came for the internship after that they offer full time placement offer to the students.

The fees structure of Chandigarh university is like other private universities. during I was studying the fees structure was 1,60,000 rs per month. due to good marks in my 12th, I got a 50% scholarship. If a student had 80-90% in 12th they will get a 20% scholarship and if it is in between 90-100% they will get a 50% scholarship. and other criteria also for a scholarship like JEE Rank. But they increase the fees structure every year. There are approx 500+ companies visiting Chandigarh university for campus placements. from my class, 200 students from 220 got placed among which 70+ students got package more than 8 lacs. I got placed in Tekion with a package of 12 lacs per annum. There are many top mnc companies like google, amazon, Microsoft etc visiting Chandigarh university every year for places with good packages.

Chandigarh university campus is very huge than other college campuses. There are a total of 20 blocks in CU and every block has its specialization and library. the main universal library is at block 1 where you can get every book and digital library also there at block 1. There is a big sports complex on the south campus where they have ground for every sport like badminton, cricket, basketball etc. Many fests are happening in CU like Tech fest, parivartan, Internation fokre, youth fest,cu fest etc. and every week many singers and stars came to Chandigarh University for promotion and students will enjoy a lot during these tashan nights. Many of the Punjabi movie's shootings happened in the Cu campus like Jind meriye , Yaar Anmulle returns etc. They are many tech clubs at Cu like Google developer club(GDG), salesforce developer club etc.

Chandigarh University has separate hostels for boys and girls with a fully hygienic and attached mess. The hostel mess serves fresh and hygienic food. you will be provided facilities like internet, gym, adduct, common rooms of Tv, indoor sports room, study rooms etc. The hostel houses have a court for basketball, volleyball etc. and there is one stage between the hostel where hostel DJ nights happening every month. Use of bad language is prohibited in the hostel. Smoking, consumption of alcoholic drinks and use drugs in the hostel is strictly prohibited. There are many other facilities like 24*7 power supply, wifi, gym rooms, saloon, tuck shops , reading rooms etc.
