Remarks
As I did my graduation from this same University I received an old student scholarship as well and the fees is very less compared to other private college/university without compromising education quality. The college placements are very good. Complete placement process was held online and I got placed in a reputed company even at the times of Covid scenario. The poor thing is that there is a lack of management process in the University as one has to move here and there ( from one department to another) to get the work done.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty at Chandigarh University is quite good. In MBA almost all the faculties are PHD holders. The teaching method is totally paper less. We were being taught through PPT's and the minor exams for internal marks are held every month. The MST's are so easy to score.
Internships Opportunities
When pursuing a master's degree the university provide the opportunities to get internship from the campus itself. As during the second semester various companies come in the University for hiring students for the internship program. I was selected from the University itself for the internship for the role of sales executive. The stipend totally depends upon the company offerings and as per your performance. The projects and taks are different for each individual assigned by the company according to the specialisation.
Placement Experience
For 3 years degree the students become eligible for the campus placement as they reach the 5th semester and for master's degree like MBA one becomes eligible for job placement as the 3rd semester starts. I was also placed in the beginning of the 3rd semester.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Academic fee hike is done after every year for new students and examination fees hike is done after every year for all the students old or new. I availed the old student scholarship as my graduation was from the same University. I was having the option for academic scholarship also as my graduation % was 70+
Campus Life
Various fest are organised in chandigarh University every year. In every two to three months some fest or concert is organised within the campus. Huge number of books & journals are available in the main library of the university in Block 1 and also every academic block is having it's separate library which include books related to that course.
