Remarks

I have applied for IIM Nagpur it is a great place to learn and I am pursuing my MBA degree from this institute. Admission has been done on the basis of a holistic profile analysis approach after going through profile filtering and interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty is best in the country coming from IIM A, B, C, and apart from that regular counseling sessions have been organized by the institute. Have a great culture of peer learning and a case-based approach.

Internships Opportunities

Maximum companies visit the campus and provide roles as per the profile of the students and their interests. Committees also offer a certain number of live projects that help students to come out of their comfort zone.

Placement Experience

Semester 2 for summer placements and after that for 4th sem for final placements and IIM N has a system of tri-semesters that help students to learn in a continuous manner and packages revolve in double-digit only.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship and financial assistance will be provided to the needy section of the society on case to case basis. The process is very smooth and the administration keeps to stone unturned to help students.

Campus Life

The institute comes with its own campus and top nauch infrastructure and world-class amenities. Have a good club and committee approach to bridge the gap between classroom learning and the practical knowledge.

Great hostel facility and good quality food having a dedicated committee for it. The registration process is very easy and seniors are too helpful in case of any issue one faces in the curriculum or of any sort.

The topic covered in the interview is the Last work ex and the interests one has. Apart from that, the subject knowledge one learned during the last degree or the work experience. I prepared on my own by going own profile and resume.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Summer internship starts in September itself and students can convert it into PPO, this is an unique opportunity and summer placements start in the start of the second year itself. Average package for 22-24 batch is 14.32 and highest is 27 lpa.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Perks of cracking IIM, Nagpur

Apart from IIM, Nagpur I applied for NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO and other IIMs too. I converted IIM Vishakhapatnam, IIM Trichy, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Ranchi, NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO AIR 14th. I chose IIM, Nagpur over other colleges because the alumni network, faculty and the perk of scholarship. I didn't get into TISS, may be I did not focus properly in my exams due to too many distractions. Remaking of Career - IIM Nagpur - 9th Best IIMs out of Best B- Schools in Country

The admission Process at my time was full of options. There was a CAP - Common Admission Process for 11 IIMs which were mostly 2nd Generation and 3rd Generation IIMs apart from IIM Nagpur, IIM Visakhapatnam, and IIM Amritsar. I got a call from every IIM for flagship PGP - MBA apart from IIM A and IIM B. Based on my score of IIM C and IIM K, I got direct admission to IIM Nagpur for the 2018-20 batch.
