The college management is quite good. Professors are very frank to students. I would hope for better college management in terms of lesser working days for reducing pressure on students.
Entrance Preview
I got direct admission in this college. I choosed civil engineering in this college because i took my interested in this field. It's a private college so you can get admission on management quota without appearing in any entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum includes helping Deans, Department Heads, and groups of faculty to systematically collect, review, and use information to iteratively improve student learning and overall program effectiveness. and there are various separate buildings for various department in college campus.
Internships Opportunities
I never witnessed any internship being provided in this college. There is no placement cell in college and the placements are very few.
Placement Experience
Very poor, they didn't even arranged a single placement drive for civil engg student. In case of other departments like ece, cse n mechenical engg (polytecnic) they did. Companies like paras technolgy, tvs motors arranged these placement drives in campus
College Events
Various events n functions are being celebrated in this college with great zeal. Students also participated in these events in huge numbers. students orgasnised freeshers party n diwali night every year. tech fest is also being conducted every year in college auditorium. college authorities also invites punjabi stars in these functions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is pretty decent. The payments are in semester wise for college and in yearly for hostel. Also the scholarships are also provided to various students from jammu and kashmir. The fee payment is nearly 1,20,000 per year which include college fees hostel fees n mess fess.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't availed any scholarship but i know many students who have availed for scholarship in our college most of them are from jammu and kashmir and bihar. they got scholarship under pmsss for j&k students
Campus Life
The campus life and the gender ratio is quite usual here and nothing special. There is no discrimination on basis of caste/ religion in college. There are several kinds of labs here and experimentation's are done in details to help students understand better.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are small but quite useful. Bathroom are attached with each room. There is no shortage of electricity n water is hostel. Lan wifi is also provided in each room and this the reason why students prefer to live in hostel. Hostel fees is nearly 40k including mess fees. Food is the only problem we have faced in hostel. Mess food looks n tastes like a jail food.
Alumni/Alumna
My experiance with my seniors was quite good. I have had interactions with several seniors here and they've all been very helpful in providing details about the college. There has been no ragging done.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is good in this college. They conduct final exam of all deparment under the same building. water n toilet facilities are also being provided to students during exam. MST exams are frequent and ill timed with the labs, providing a hectic experience. With 2 sessionals before the main exam in each semester.
Faculty
Most of the assistant professors in civil department itself are passout/alumni of the same college. There are also some senior professors which are highly qualified in respective field. Moreover all the professors are good and caring at college level.
